Wow! Marshfield, in Chippewa Falls, is one of the greatest places I've been. Crystal, with dermatology, has been so helpful. I saw Melissa Koopman, last week, and they have called me numerous times to see how I was doing. They have been working with my insurance, to figure out the best treatment. I can't believe the treatment I've received. These people, truly, are there to help. This is an outstanding staff. I would recommend them to anyone that is having a problem. I've, also, been to Rice Lake for a surgery, they were phenomenal, too. Never in my life, have I been treated so well, by medical staff.
This clinic is one of the better ones, the only real issues are the health system, and they are upgrading the record system which leads to delays, missed or incorrect appointments and overall inability to find patient information.
My son has some medical issues and has very high anxiety. The technician and the dentist were patient and kind to him. I appreciate you all.
What a mess and it not because of a computer change this happened last year also. Thank goodness we keep email sent to us or we would still be wanting for an appointment. I have never been so disappointed in a clinic before, never.
The outstanding people at this facility go above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable with your results, they didnt mind running extra extensive tests or even phoning other doctors to get second opinions. Walking out of Marshfield Clinic I had a sense of confidence bestowed upon me that my son was on the right path to a healthy recovery and life.
WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in my life. I would really love to know what staff is “friendly” like said in other reviews. It is clearly not Tammy. She is the biggest grouch I’ve ever spoken to. I have called multiple times trying to make an appointment and she is so rude. At first I chalked it up to a bad day, but in the 7/8 times I’ve talked to her of course I can never get anyone else she seems like she couldn’t care less that I’m in pain. Makes it seem like an inconvenience that I even call. I would LOVE to talk to her manager or supervisor about her attitude and why she can’t ever be compassionate about your situation. Still haven’t gotten in and I’ve been calling for over 3 months now. Now my pain is horrible and my face is swelling. All I got was “I’ll make a note” Tammy, if you see this review, please change how you speak to patients.
Came here to setup a yearly doctor's visit and to setup a primary care physician with doctor J. Lemke. Upon entering the building, I gave the desk lady my insurance card, she scanned it, told me the card reader wasn't working, had me sign some papers, and then off I went to my yearly exam. I also got my last and final HPV shot. About 2 months later I received and EOB from my insurance company saying they aren't covering any of it because Marshfield doesn't accept my insurance. So the card reader wasn't broken. The front desk lady knew they didn't take my insurance and neglected to tell me so. On top of that on my EOB my HPV shot I only got one of is on there twice and it says "2/3", but Doctor Lemke told me that it was my last one and that it looks like I never got the third one. She also told me, and I quote "Most insurances cover the shot" yeah most insurances that this place accepts which mine just so happens to not be one of them. This place is a scam, I'm never coming back here ever again. It's also now been 3 weeks as of yesterday, August 2nd, 2021 and I still have yet to receive my medical bill from Marshfield to pay it.
Old facility not convenient if you have mobility issues..... Some great people but sadly some that are not worth a plug nickel. Look elsewhere for care or go at your own risk. I will say my former Dr here did catch a potentially life threatening infection and orthopedic surgeons office failed to notify me of until I brought up needing to repeat said test and the primary looked into it and helped me treat this pre op. Just negligent people!
I go here for several reasons but it is always friendly staff when you are checked in down to when you leave. They are taking precautions for the COVID issue that are going on now with masks required when you go in at the door and temperature is taken as well. So be prepared for that when you check in for any appointments. Otherwise it is very friendly and the same as before. Pharmacy is curbside to pickup meds or they mail them to you if you can wait.
Went in for major depression, nurse practitioner prescribed me pills and a goodbye. Directed me to use my 3 yr old expired anxiety meds instead of providing fresh ones because of potential abuse or selling by others. I then heard her laughing about me with someone, I assume the nurse. "He does such and such and wonders why he's depressed." Pretty cold. Everyone else was professional, courteous.
