Friendly staff and healthy flowers at Martins. I've always felt confident about the bouquets they put together and have gotten comments on how long the flowers lasted for after I had gifted them.
One snowy day last month I made a rare trek from Las Vegas to Boston to inter the ashes of my mother with her daughter who passed away nearly 60 years ago. On my way to the cemetery, alone, I happened upon this florist and stoped in for some flowers. The gentleman assume it was Martin himself not only picked out a lovely bouquet of flowers that ironically were some of my mothers favorites — but then refused to take any money for them. I was truly touched by this gesture from a complete stranger… and it gives me true hope that there’s still humanity in humans. If you stop through and see them, tell them their friend from Las Vegas says hello.

Flowers were really wonderful but I am very concerned and unsatisfied with their service. I ordered flowers for mothers day by calling and gave my card information through the phone he never asked for my email and I was not given a confirmation # for my transaction. The flowers came on time and I was very happy about it but a week later, I noticed that I was charged the same amount again it was being processed. I called the store when I found out and a lady picked up the phone and told me to call back in an hour when the owner would be there. She was not very friendly over the phone. I called back and the owner asked me for my bank account # and details which i provided. I could hear him laughing on the phone which was weird. Again, there was no confirmation nothing. He just said, he was sorry and the amount would be refunded. 5 days later, there was still no refund but my "processed" amount had been approved and charged. I then called my bank and disputed the charge. Again, my mom was very happy with the flowers and so was i but laughing at a customer when you made the mistake of charging them twice and not following up on your mistakes and correcting them is unacceptable. Please be cautious and make sure to order online/through a website and not over the phone.
Martin's is a local gem just a few minutes away from Maplewood Sq. Every single bouquet I've pre-ordered or had arranged on the spot has been consistently fresh and beautiful at a reasonable price. I've also had to bike to and from Martin's and they've always been accommodating by providing me additional boxes or extra wrappings to protect the flowers. 11/10 service!
Absolutely the best! Ordered on line for grand daughters 16th birthday. Can't tell you how beautiful and wonderful the bouquet is. Will always use them and will directly from now on. Thank you Martin's for coming thru in this unusual time for us. Arlene and Bill Costello
My bestfriend ordered flowers for me for my birthday and not even slightly close to the picture online what they delivered to me. It was just few pieces of roses and Lilies. It’s looks like they just made something quickly and they use whatever they have left in the store. It’s really not worth the money!!!
I just stopped in to get a single rose and i had taken the wrong wallet this morning so i only had a credit card on me. When i went to pay him, he told me i could just have it. I really appreciate it so much. This is my second time getting something from Martin's and the flowers are beautiful. I will be back to give you the $5.00, you have a customer for life.
