I wish I could post more than 5 stars; Martinsville Florist deserves way more! I worked with Corrina on flowers for my daughter's wedding; they supplied gazebo arrangements, bouquets, dining-table arrangements, aisle flowers, florals for all the auxiliary tables and signs, and I worked through them to purchase and/or rent all vases, candle risers, and candles. The arrangements were spectacular, and so was the service. Corrina was a dream to work with. She was professional and pro-active right from the start, and contacted me regularly throughout the process to keep me updated on the status of orders. She worked tirelessly to give me exactly what we needed and wanted, and even suggested ways to re-purpose arrangements to avoid excess flowers and expense. At my initial consultation, Corrina methodically stepped through every category of arrangement needed, and built - on the spot - bouquets and arrangements to give me accurate visuals. There was no guesswork involved; when I left there that first day I knew exactly the flowers we'd like, the types of arrangements, and in what sizes. She carefully put together a detailed invoice for me that week, so I had a complete item-by-item list of costs. Corrina worked with me over the next couple of weeks to tweak the plan, and made sure I was completely satisfied. The prices were more than reasonable, perhaps in part because I knew exactly what I was getting, and could weed out that which I didn't want. Other places started out by asking my budget, and played to that number. Corrina instead asked what I wanted, and then informed me what that would cost. In the end, Corrina's method saved me so much money, and we got the perfect flowers! The wedding ceremony was outside in August, and Corrina and I were both concerned about the longevity of some of the flowers in the summer heat. Corrina went out of her way to take measures to protect the more delicate blooms by creating oases, supporting those flowers that could be most affected, and spraying with protective sprays. Her efforts paid off; the arrangements lasted not only throughout the wedding, but for days more at our home. Working with Martinsville Florist was completely stress-free, and for anyone who's planned a wedding, you know how important that is. I was fully confident from the start that the flowers would be fresh, full, beautiful, and delivered and arranged without a hitch. They did not disappoint. I'd use Martinsville Florist again in a heartbeat.

When my now-husband and I decided to make the move to a micro-wedding in my parents’ backyard from our big celebration due to COVID, my mom immediately suggested Martinsville Florist because they’re local and she’s known the family for a while. My husband and I were SO IMPRESSED with the flower arrangements that arrived at my parents’ house the morning of our wedding. Not only did Kristen and Marilyn create gorgeous arrangements, but they took my vision and created one that was even better than I had imagined. I had asked for a flower crown to wear and the one they created never looked like it had a wilted flower on it at any point during the day, and I kept it on for well over 8 hours I was so in love with it and didn’t want to take it off!. Kristen was easy to communicate with and extremely responsive. At the time of delivery, we were unsure of the location of our ceremony on my parents’ property due to the weather. Martinsville Florist left everything we would need to have our floral arch under my parents’ porch which is what we chose to do or move the arch to the front lawn. They also came back and retrieved the arch a few days later after the wedding. The floral arrangements lasted over a week once the ceremony was over. Marilyn and Kristen designed gorgeous bouquets for both my maid of honor and me. They added so much color to our day and made it truly feel special! I highly recommend them for all your floral needs!

They are amazing!!! I showed Corrina a picture of what I wanted and she took the time to write out the name and price of every flower and made everything within our budget. On the day of our wedding the bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. Will recommend them to everyone in the area!!

If the slogan of the state of New Jersey is "State of garden", I can freely say that Martinsville is a representative of that motto, and Martinsville Florist is the crown of both the place and the country. I am glad that I had the opportunity to visit that "Botanical garde" and see for myself the kindness, quality and beauty of the service. Keep it up I'm glad you exist. My nephew was having a last minute wedding and I came to Martinsville Florist the day before the wedding. We still needed a bridal bouquet, groom’s boutonnière, and flowers for the cake. I thought for sure they would laugh and tell me that I was crazy for requesting this the day before the wedding. Instead, the ladies at Martinsville florist were absolutely wonderful and helpful. Not only did they have enough flowers on hand to help us fulfill everything we needed, but they worked quickly and we were able to pick up the flowers the first thing the next morning. I cannot say enough good things about this florist and how helpful and wonderful they were. They did not even charge us extra for being in such a rush, which I fully expected to have to pay up because it was so last-minute. Please visit this florist and give them all of your business because they are fantastic and their shop was fully stocked and they absolutely knew how to help us get what we wanted on a budget.

Very reliable with friendly staff. We do not live in the area, but have family there. Our orders are via phone or on line. 100% satisfaction.

Visited shop the Friday after Thanksgiving to order fresh holiday inserts for front door planters. Marilyn took time to recommend an arrangement that would be just right considering my budget & choice of colors. She got it done before closing which was challenging considering how busy they were!

Wonderful! The entire experience was easy going and really fun! I had a wedding that was taking place in a short amount of time and near Valentines Day, one of the craziest times at a flower shop! Without hesitation, the team at Martinsville Florist helped me select according to time of year, price and even made sure there were the exact amount of each was noted. They ordered my flowers, and even ordered more babies breath late in the week for us. All in all, amazing service, Dana is amazing at what she does!!!! Thank you guys!!!! <3

Due to COVID19 protocols, I was unable to make it home for my mother's birthday and Martinsville Florist stepped in to deliver flowers with my last minute request! Absolutely beautiful bouquet, extremely responsive and easy to work with, quick and smooth delivery. Would highly recommend and look forward to using their services again in the future! Martinsville Florist has enhanced the interior and exterior of our home for over a decade. Each piece they create is a work of art, delicate, tasteful and unique. The owners are there every day, which I think is the secret to their success. Family talent, kindness, and natural talent is a great combination. Their ribbon collection is outstanding, I have all my special gifts wrapped there for showers, birthdays Christmas, Easter anything. Their plants are quality, will last the best of what I have bought in the area. Beautify your home with their creations you will not be sorry. Most recently with sadness we ordered all our family's arrangements for mom's funeral. The floral arrangements were artistically arranged and color coordinated to perfection. The family was appreciative of Marilyn's guidance. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. I am a volunteer for the Adult Day Care Center, in Basking Ridge. We are holding a fund raising for the center on Nov. 6 at Spring Brook Country Club. Martinsville Florist donated a beautiful Thanksgiving Tree with silk flowers and an autumn theme for the auction. It is stunning and if anyone is hosting a thanksgiving dinner this would be a wonderful enhancement to your theme.
