I love visiting museums and antique places when visiting a new city. Stopped by this place because it was open till 9pm. Most of the places close by 6pm. This place was a gem and a huge surprise for me. Absolutely loved the collections of the old games. You’ll need a cash to change to coins in order to play. The old video games and puppet was my favorite. Highly recommend this amazing place.
GREAT place for family fun! There are many games for ALL ages. Parents you too can play and feel like a kid again!. The women's restroom is very clean!! My kids love this place. You need cash so you can change it to coins. It can get crowded, feel free to wear a mask for your comfort. The staff are very friendly and readily available for when you need help. Go and try it! It's worth a try. Plus this place is highly recommend by the owner .
Lots of really cool old and newer video games, mechanical games, and other interesting things/oddities to look at and enjoy. They also have ticket games and a redemption center. We had a great time here but it was very crowded. It was a week day but holiday for schools so there were a lot of kids here. I don't recommend you go on holidays. The food counter has a very limited selection of small individual pizza, hot dogs, chicken nuggets and fries. You should probably eat before you come, food was only decent.
Marvin's is a hole-in-the-wall hidden gem! An old school arcade and snack bar mix. It has unique machines and rare games. There is plenty to see whether you want to spend the money to play the games or just walk around and view the many mechanical marvels. There is a lot to see so I'd recommend taking your time if it's your first time visiting. The front half of Marvin's is arcade games, pinball machines and the unique rare games that are extremely old. The second half are the more modern arcade games that give you tickets that you can turn in. The games that give tickets are labeled that they give tickets but some are more difficult to see. Overall fantastic experience, we'll be visiting again!
Loved it. Great decor, some odd but neat to see and laugh. Plus, old time coin machines to watch and enjoy. Arcade brought back memories of childhood plus I got a high score on a Guns N Roses pinball machine. SOOOOO COOL. Recommend to visit.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
A spectacle of wonder! I'm so glad places like this exist! As well as being a snapshot of vintage whimsy and history, there is just so much to look at, and $20 goes a long way. I can never get tired of putting a quarter in a machine to watch some wooden automaton pick its wooden nose! So many vintage machines, pinball, and some modern video game entertainments. Free admission, but feel free to spend a fair amount of money on making every single machine act out some strange and hilarious scenes. We drove 3.5 hours to visit Detroit for Marvin's, and we were not disappointed in the least!
Well, it's a kids dreams place. Make sure you bring at least $20.00. The games, rides, puppet shows or pinball cost from .25 cents to $3.00. The place was crowded, even on a Monday. They also have snack bar & restrooms. Really a fun place for adults too, they have race cars you can sit in side by side with a friend. I would strongly suggest you bring your kids to this truly Magical & Marvelous place...
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It's always a pleasure to go here and play games. I absolutely adore the aesthetic of the museum and how much fun you can have! I love that the machines take quarters too. Such a lovely place for dates, family events, and friend activities. Go here!! You won't regret it!! Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entryFree
This place is such a hoot. Been going for decades. We recently took our three year old for her birthday and she absolutely wore herself out pushing buttons and playing games. Pro tip, there's a coin operated box at the entry door that turns on the planes mounted overhead. For 50 cents everybody in the building gets a cool experience.
Cool little gaming spot for the kids and my husband. There are a ton of arcade games. We only encountered a few that were broken. Most games are .50-$1. You also get tickets to redeem for “prizes”. Lots of pinball machines. They also serve food. ATM on site.
