There was road construction, but once we arrived at the zoo, we had fun. There is a playground area for kids. The indoor visiting area had reptiles. Nice zoo for being free.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
Wow what an incredible cute little zoo. When we were there they were in the process of remodeling. The current progress looked really nice. I'm definitely going to have to come back and visit the new changes.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
This is pretty nice for being a free zoo. We saw a lynx, an owl, a turkey vulture, some goats, some sheep, alpacas, geese, etc. There were deer, too. Some of the animals were not out, but maybe we'll see them next time. Everything seems nicely kept up and clean. There is a playground and a barn with farm animals. It's not too big, so it's great for young children.
A very small zoo and not a large variety of animals but it is free! Free parking and a nice little forested park to take a walk in. Donations are encouraged and they could use them.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
I was honestly kind of disappointed with my zoo experience. I took my fiance. He's never been there. He's from a different state and there was barely any animals in the cages and and many of the exhibits were down we still had a lot of fun though. Really enjoyed the cougar and the bald eagle
What a great zoo and it's free!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
This free zoo is maintained beautifully! Great little date for me and my man and great for kids! We loved the little "who left made these" paw prints and seeing the sizes.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
I had only been to Manitowoc Lincoln Park Zoo in the winter months... It's heaven if you love nature, plants, water, small forest like paths.... I know I do and it was AMAZING! I can't wait to bring a group!!!! Lots of scenic areas to enjoy your hand packed lunch! Just make a donation! I did not see a suggestion for amount, but as with wait staff, be generous! It's the only way they can keep going! Have fun!
It was an okay 0lace to visit. I imagine not easy to maintain a donation driven facility. Visited early April, post Easter Sunday, so there was still some debris and remnants of the egg hunt. The grounds need sprucing but again understandable given the Spiny season just began. I didn't see any visible staff but would be a nice touch from a greeting and/or point of reference regarding the exhibits.
One of the zoo caretakers was super nice to us telling us more about some of the animals!
