We visit all the time. We've also rented the Fieldhouse for a family reunion. Tonight we did the fam6walk through for the zoo lights. Absolutely wonderful. What a wonderful event. Great place to come and spend time, never disappointed.
Attended an event at the field house. The park and zoo are nice, but the field house needs a major overhaul and is not a good representation of this park. It could be so much better but is in need of funding. The bathrooms especially were unacceptable and made me want to seek a gas station.
This is a multiuse park. It is about 112 acres in total. There are some nice tennis court 4 that can be lit at night. A well maintained base ball field. There are some nice walking trails with picnic areas here and there. There are some really nice cabins available for for group rental. The birding along the Little Manitowoc River is entertaining. There can be water fowl and least terns working the water. The park also contains a modest zoo. One of the few free zoos in the state. Yes, you can get in free, but donate $2. for adults and $1 for kids. You can see wild deer and turkeys at any given time. The field house is a nice building, but could use a little TLC. During the Christmas holidays there is an interesting drive through light show for $5 a car. Playground: Small playground near the cabins
Had a confirmation party, cabin 2, awesome Cabin clean, was a great place to all be together. Nice not to have all the work at home, lots of space. Kids had park right next door.
I wish that all the animals were out.
Wonderful little zoo. Always fun to go to for a little afternoon get away.
Probably the most peaceful Zoo I've ever been to
This is a nice park. There are playground, tennis courts, etc. The zoo is small but great for young children.
I really enjoy walking around the zoo. Very clean and interesting. Good way to spend a sunny afternoon. The zoo is free but they do ask for donations and I make sure to put some money in each time we go. I would love to see this be around for a long time.
This park is well wooded and extremely cozy for family and friend get togethers. There are wild animals to watch and relaxing areas to spend time at. Great place to go and just relax by yourself also. A great place to watch deer.
