My father’s resting place, no complaints so far, it’s pretty cleaned just the only thing I have not purchased a marker and lately I’m having a hard time finding my father. The numbers on the ground is very difficult to find. I’m wondering if cemetery has anything I can put on my dad’s gravesite until I can get a marker. I know other cemetery’s do have a small metal little sign on ground with deceased info. I hope I have been decorating the correct gravesite. The day of burial was horrible we waited about more than an hour outside near chapel because the staff was delayed. Once taken to gravesite they buried my father so fast we were never given an opportunity to pray or say anything. It was so rushed just because Catholic Charities paid grave which is not right at all. I felt it was a big disrespect.
I am the sister of the deceased! Geraldine Adaza No choice but to give 1 star! This is what happened this morning 10/20/2022 MaryHill, I understand that the cleaning crew has to clean up. But Be consistent! Don’t choose which ones you gonna keep and threw away the rest in the garbage. It wasn’t enough that they threw away my Brother’s flowers crucifix solar lights angels But they Drove over his flower stand coz they can’t remove it They drove over his Tomb So WICKED, So Evil No Respect!!!!!!!
My brother is buried here at MaryHill. On numerous occasions, flowers have been removed, candle holders are gone, and our family’s cross with angels are removed within days of placing at his monument. It is disheartening and very disrespectful that they will remove your beloved’s items without any hesitation or explanation or awareness. When the time to clean up, we remove all items. Yet, within days of visiting, all my items are removed. It is a matter of bringing comfort to our love ones that we have visited, grieved, & prayed for them. It is so disappointing & appalling that this cemetery does not respect your love ones grave. In addition, when it’s time for closing, the cemetery staff has screamed, yelled & outburst disrespectful words, threatened to call the police & confrontational conduct for our family to leave. Unfortunately, Please advise for any event at this cemetery.
I am changing my review from one to three stars. I am still upset that flowers are randomly taken off my brother’s grave. But I was thankful for the cemetery staff working with us and the funeral director when we buried my dad on one of the hottest days of August. I am happy that we were able to use the air conditioned chapel when it was 103 degrees temp that registered on my car
Always the best selection to our beloved relatives who has departed.
Friendly staff ready to assist us with the selection of a grave for our dearly departed, they were very helpful and had different burial packages to fit our budget.
One of the worst graveyards I’ve been in! The staff are super rude, every time I leave gifts for my loved one it disappears and I don’t know if it’s staff stealing them or other people around. The place is full with goose poop so we can’t even sit on the floor. I left a gift for my love one from a different country and it was very significant. Next day it was gone. It wasn’t something the wind or animals could’ve take plus it was well put. This happens with everyone’s gifts. My family leaves gifts that get stolen everyday. I’m Super upset over this. The staff are incredibly rude and always have an attitude. Don’t bury your loved ones here it’s not worth the treatment.
There should be an option for ZERO stars. The incompetence of the office staff and the grounds supervisor is astounding. I am not done with these people by a long shot. They buried my mother-in-law in the wrong grave so we had to watch her get buried twice. They actually had the audacity to blame the funeral home. Stevie Wonder could probably take a better guess at which plot to bury her in if the diagram was in braille. Hint: The two other graves have the same last name as my mother-in-law.
Agree with Adrian First the mess up the paperwork and tell the funeral director all has been paid for. Then call 2 days later and say only partially and we owe them money. Fine. We show up to pay a balance and are greeted by some young woman throwing paper work at us and would not even sit down. One of my darkest times and some kid is standing there wanting to know what to engrave and what color stone. This is while STANDING up ! No empathy. No kindness The staff are clearly in the wrong business. Folks grieving and treated like this. Just heartbreaking that they are allowed to behave so poorly.
