Dr.Alder office staff was excellent, moving to a new area and looking for a new primary physicians can be challenging for many, but being referred to the office was a hit. knowing health is so important to me I didn't want to miss an opportunity to continue monitoring my health. Savannah customer service was great!!! She was able to help me get my wife an appointment as a new patient. Thank you Savannah for going over and beyond to make us feel at home with our New Physicians Care Family.... Also Thanks Dr.Alder for accepting: Chaplain Brazil
My experience at this location has always been mediocre at best and sometimes leaning towards harmful. I’ve struggled to receive adequate care at this location to investigate various issues with the deserved care. The bedside manner of the personnel has ranged from tense politeness to sheer indifference. I would consider the care of this facility equivalent to a somewhat decent urgent care facility. In my most recent visit, I left with about a two inch bruise from a failed blood draw performed by a person that was purported to be the best in the office. The nurse practitioner even stated in a somewhat egotistical manner that it “upsets him more than his patients to miss the vein”. Well he missed and aggravated the site by swirling the needle around in my arm to locate the vein. He got a small sample that was deemed insufficient and retracted the needle. They then labeled me as difficult rather than coming to terms with the fact that skilled professionals can perform this task regardless of patient. No sympathy was offered for the excessive pain and this terrible incident was the appetizer to a shoddy physical in which the practitioner couldn’t be bothered to look up a medical condition after struggling to pronounce the name. I’ll accept that this convenient location isn’t capable of the most rudimentary care and seek other facilities with caring, skilled staff that are responsive to their patients.
My daughter and I are grateful long-time patients of Dr. Carter; she is wise, caring and patient, she exemplifies quality healthcare. All of the staff members at Maryland Primary Care Physicians go above and beyond to answer the phones, return patient voicemail messages, ensure patient appointments, prescriptions refills, doctor referrals, doctor's justification letters, are taken care of in a professional, and timely manner. Thank you all immensely!
I have never been happier with a physician's office than I am with this one. I am a retired endodontist and I know what quality care looks and feels like. I get that with Dr. Abraham and his wonderful team.
I Had my first physical and they charged $164 in addition to the insurance full payment for an annual physical because, according to the person that handle the bills, "the doctor did talk with me about topics that go beyond a regular physical" is acid reflux or memory issue a topic that goes beyond a regular physical?? Do yourself a favor Choose a different Care physician.
Dr. Falana Carter is wise beyond her years and is about wellness, not only treating illness. She is fully attentive, not rushing me, full of options and always includes me in making the best decision for my care. She stays up to date and educated. I could not be happier with her care. The staff are also very accommodating and have very good manners, 5+. The My Portal is a very helpful and messages are responded to very quickly!!! GO MARYLAND PRIMARY!!!
I am looking for a new family practice doctor now very unsatisfied with my well-being since my doctor has left They do not keep up with my routine checkups my blood work I don’t work for them and I shouldn’t have to keep calling and reminding them when my stuff should be getting done just very dissatisfied with this place altogether
Love my doctors office. Everyone there is great. All the nurses and doctors are excellent. Lisa at the front desk is very friendly and helpful.
This is the worst and most unprofessional office I’ve ever encountered. I scheduled an appointment weeks in advance. Asked if there was any further information that I needed. Never did they mention you can’t bring any children into the office at all which of course I’ve done before many times. I drive 45 minutes to get this place from my home. And I’m met with an unapologetic attitude and the woman at the desk telling me I can’t have my son there at all and I have to reschedule my appointment. So incredibly inconvenient. She had absolutely no care in the world about it. Pathetic excuse for professionalism. I’ll be switching providers immediately.
I have had only consistently poor experiences at this office, specifically with Dr. Adler. The first was when I had two appointments back to back. I checked in for both, did the first and then was waiting on the second, with a nurse, to come in. Eventually, I got a call asking where I was, which was in the room waiting on them. Second, I had an appointment 2 weeks ago, I checked in, went into the room and then sat there. 45 minutes after my appointment time I went to the desk and asked when the doctor would see me. They said "oh, let me check" and walked away. I went back to the room and eventually Dr. Adler came in and didn't even apologize for being so late. Finally, today, I arrive 10 minutes early. 15 minutes after my appointment time I ask to confirm my appointment and was told that Dr. Adler was running late and there is 1 patient in front of me. I go use the restroom and when I come back I was told he was running 1 hour behind. I am not sure how this office has such poor communication and runs behind so consistently. I can understand running behind, but when it is such a large time frame it is should be at least good practice to call patients to inform them. I left work just to be asked to wait an extra hour. I recommend you look for a different office, perhaps one that knows how to run even marginally efficiently, because it will be better than this. Besides that, the care I had in the Army where everything was met with "Here, take 800mg of ibuprofen" was better care than I received here. Edit after owner response: Yes, I was offered alternate arrangements. Those arrangements were to come back later that day. That offer was only made after I was told of the 2 hour delay. Which that was only known after I had shown up and was already waiting past my appointment time. This "response" doesn't show that you actually helped me at all and doesn't actually answer any of the concerns I laid out. But, I guess, I appreciate the answer.
