Welcome to Student Counseling Services at Marymount University!
Marymount University's Counseling Center is a place where students can talk privately with a licensed counselor in a nonjudgmental, confidential atmosphere about their concerns. The Counseling Center's services are free and confidential. Except in situations of potential harm to oneself or others, no information about a student is shared with anyone outside the Counseling Center without that student's written permission. Counseling Center records do not become part of a student's academic record.
The Counseling Center offers individual counseling, group counseling, outreach activities, consultation with faculty, staff, parents, and friends, crisis intervention, and can direct you to online self-help resources and screenings.
If a counselor believes that a student's needs could be served more appropriately outside the Counseling Center, the counselor will work with the student to ensure connections and referrals are made to treatment providers in the community.
Please let us know how we can help you!
The mission of Marymount University's Student Counseling Services is to support the healthy academic, emotional, and social growth of Marymount students.
