Marysville Municipal Court

Contacted the Marysville Municipal Court to inquire about marriage licenses and they were not only unpleasant to talk to, they provided no help as to how to go about getting a license. She said there’s probably a website but I don’t have that now. She sounded annoyed that she had to work. I get it, after covid we don’t know how to “people” anymore. I laughed after the call was done because of the lack of professionalism. Let me save you some time, don’t call them.

The Staff has been consistently helpful when I have called. But, they never return calls. The lobby with the one security guard needs to be addressed. It's too small and too slow. My family member is the reason I've been there and called multiple times. There is one specific judge that is an absolute joke. I've watched her let people off without even a slap on their wrists when they deserve time....or a punishment the fits the crime. No big deal to commit crimes in Marysville because, you will not be held accountable.

What kind of court lines you up at your arraignment, to talk to the prosecutor and plea out on a plea bargain? With the blessing of the public pretender...most courts say to plead not guilty at the arraignment!

An officer lied on a traffic stop about my speed. I suspect that this court did not read my statement and instead sent me the full ticket price for an infraction that I did not commit.

Why is this place open during the working people busiest hours. It's like they want to screw people over.

Won't answer the phone and won't call back.
