Everyone has been very friendly here over the past year. Glad they are open again after the plandemic. Good place to hang out and read or go online when you have no place to go. Some cool children's activities in the summer. They have a few small conference rooms that can be used for meetings with a reservation at the library service desk. Also, there's a quiet room to catch up on the local newspaper if you missed it.
Stopped in here while traveling through the area, it was the day of the eclipse and we came for their eclipse party. Really really neat party and library! Nice people, clean bathrooms, large children's area, helpful librarians. The children's area has a large area with lots of toys to keep kids occupied... Play kitchen, baby dolls, puzzles, tons of toys. Especially nice to keep my toddler occupied while I read to my older children. A+!
More of a play area than a reading place, it’s still possible to read while the kids go have fun.
I just love public libraries, and I love telling my kids that libraries are what we used before the internet became something that was in everyone's hand. I specifically love this library because of the open layout of the building, I can go to the adult section and keep an eye on my kids in the kids' section. They have an amazing play area for the kids and the librarians are just wonderful!
Excellent library with rich resources for kids to stay busy for many hours. And Super super helpful and friendly staff!!! Perfect place to work remotely when camping nearby.
It's a great place to get my books, make copies, & use the meeting room as we did tonight for Zonta. I was at Ludington Library tonight for my Zonta Club meeting. It's a good place for parking & working on our goals.
Ludington Library is an Awesome place for the whole family. Always Friendly workers n many scheduled activities for the Kids . Only sad thing is they close at 1 pm on Saturday n not open Sunday the 2 days when a lot of people have time n need there services.
One male staff member was very rude to my sister because of a medical condition she can't wear a mask. We tried to explain to him that HIPPA laws don't require her to disclose her medical condition. I would say that over all it was a OK place but I'm not in a hurry to go back after only 1 rude staff member. Like they say it only takes 1 bad apple to ruin the rest!
Besides the wonderful programs the library offers to kids and families, it's also a great place for learning! We love bringing our Flipstar team kids each summer for a demo. They show other kids the benefit of gymnastics as a sport and we share info about the gym! Love the library!
This is a great library! Wonderful children's area, books available for visitors to the area, and even a small selection of free paperbacks for those just passing through! A real gem!
