A center for the benefit of individuals with social and behavioral struggles and Autism Spectrum Disorders
What is Matts Place?
The family and /or individual with a developmental delay face challenges that impact the home, their education, relationships, and employment throughout their lifespan. Matt’s Place (MP) is a center for families of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, social and behavioral concerns who seek assistance managing problematic behaviors.
What We Do
Matts Place will assist families and individuals ages 3-21 working through challenging behavioral disorders in a Partial Hospitalization (Day Treatment) setting, Intensive Outpatient Program, therapeutic after school program, or group therapies. Pre-school children will be referred to Early Intervention Programs outside of this clinic. The immediate goal of treatment is to manage problematic behaviors, and then offer follow up services in the form of individual and group therapies to help maintain progress and recognize any decline in behaviors which can be re-directed before significant interventions are necessary. In addition, MP offers a social resource for the higher functioning adolescents and adults (ages 22 and up).
