Matthew's Park

Pretty great neighborhood park. It seams to get lots of traffic. It has a splash pad which is activated by hitting the top of the post three times. It has three toys with numerous heads that spray water. The ground has sprayers as well. The water fountain is a combination for pets, kids, and adults. All three worked. There is a walk track which is 1/2 mile in length. The track is extra wide and can accommodate four people side by side. The track has markings at 1/4 and 1/2 increments. The park provides trash cans and dog bags. There are two picnic tables and a barbecue grill. There are three covered areas which provide lots of shade. The toy area has a four-sided kids climbing structure. I believe it is posted for kids less than 12 years old. There are a few swings for kids, one for handicapped children, and two for babies. The handicapped swing looked like the straps need to be replaced. This park would be excellent for flying kites. It seems to always be windy there. Another thing I noticed was the physical size of the park. I’m guessing it at least 10-20 acres. The only downside is there is only one portable bathroom and no sink. There are no water faucets for filling containers or putting the grill out. Playground: Climbing area for smaller kids. Swing set, splash pad. Dog-friendliness: They provide bags and a water fountain. Picnic area: Three first come first serve tables. There is one grill. The grill is 12 inches by 24 inches and not rusted.

Do not like the wood chips the play area. A kid had got one stuck in his foot. Instead of wood chips it should be rubber or pea gravel. Other than that it's a very nice park but the wood chips are dangerous. And the swings are to high.

Quiet, Clean and it has a Splash Pad! Awesome place! The picnic pavilion is large enough for 2 families or a large group to gather. The only downside is the play ground is not covered to protect you from the summer sun.

Great place do fitness and for kids to run around. There is a concrete track with markings that goes around the park

Great little splash pad for the kiddos. Pro tip: You have to slap the blue tube on the top in order to activate the water.

Walk there a bit usually early mornings or pm before the sun goes down and it's always clean and nice to walk at.
