Went to the Maurice store in the Genesee Valley Mall. While looking around in the plus size clearance rack an associate approached myself and my 3 daughters and asked what we were looking for. I replied that we were just looking around. The associate informed me that I was in the wrong section for my size and shooed me out of that section. After looking on the racks that were “my size” I happened to notice a pair of capris on the plus size clearance rack and made my way back over to that section to look at them, and was once again shooed out of that area. After finding a dress to try on we made our way to the dressing rooms, after noticing that the dressing rooms were unlocked I took my one item in to try on. Shortly after entering the dressing room that same associate came to the back and got very rude with my 3 daughters, telling them that anything that went into the dressing room had better come back out, and it better be put in the appropriate location. I originally went into that particular store because I bought a pair of pants from that location a few years ago and wanted to see if they maybe had another pair that were similar, but after being treated like a thief that was going to rob them blind I don’t feel the need to spend my hard earned money at a store where the associates have no problem being rude.
Drove over 40 minutes to get here because their hours say opened until 8pm. When I arrived at 7:30pm they were closed and the lights were off and the gate was down. All of the other stores at the mall we’re still open. I understand if they were slow but some customers need the later hours. Absolutely ridiculous. Won’t be back.
Incredible customer service. My clothing choices were laid out neatly in a dressing room with my name on the door. It made my shopping experience soooo good. Every time my hands were full with clothing picks she would take them and add them to the room, until i was ready. Wendy is very good with customer service and making you feel so welcome!
The plus size selection seems to keep getting smaller and smaller in store and when asked a worker if a regular size came in plus she just side I don't know and wouldn't check for us. If they were busy then I would have understood but there was like 2 people in the store.
The workers are rude, I don’t even want to shop in store any more. The last 2 times I went in were bad experiences.
I usually shop on line however I had to return a few items and usually just being honest that never goes well! The young lady who took care of me was very friendly and made the experience easy and no fuss , didn't have time to shop but have been back to the Fenton location simply because of her!! Great clothes reasonably priced and great service!!
The selection was ok-ish.... The prices were ridiculous in my opinion. Absolutely shy high, and the quality didnt make up for the hike in cost Again this is just my opinion but If I were you I would just go to Express if you want to pay $79 for a plain white sweater that doesn't even have a stylish cut to it. My mom and I came in to shop today and Randy Randolyn helped us out every step of the way. She was so patient and kind and such a wonderful human being.
Maurices is always a must go for me while I am at the mall. They have clothes 0-24 and they also do a completely FREE service called a “style session”. You just call and tell them what size you wear and they create tons of stunning outfits for you!! Even down to the shoes and jewelry! The girls that work there are always eager to help and are always so friendly. PS if you have your little ones with you they also have a kids corner with coloring books back by the fitting rooms for all of you mamas out there!
I have shopped at maurices for over 10 years and I am always satisfied with what I find at every store!
