Maw's Produce

Maw's is a cute produce stand with a nice selection of spices, baked goods, speciality products, produce and a selection of frozen foods. Some of the produce was just okay. We did like the frozen baked ziti but we were very disappointed in the frozen macaroni and cheese. It was made by A Full Measure located in Mocksville, NC. We actually found the macaroni and cheese had no flavor what so ever and could not eat it. It was a small container that cost $8.00.

We vacation in the NC Mountains every year. My bride wanted to bring back some peaches and tomatoes for canning. 3 cases layer.... The staff was very friendly and fun to chat with.

We stop here every trip. Quaint little shop with all kinds of stuff. Everything from produce to crafts. Do yourself a favor and try one of the homemade hand pies.

We travel through here regularly and stop at Maw’s each time we go through. This is enough to be recognized by the friendly staff working there. While everything is fantastic here, the meats might surprise you in a good way. We stock up on anything we’d like to grill here from their freezer. The steaks are better than you can get at a steakhouse, in my opinion. They also have some excellent chicken pies and other easy meal options. If you are looking for boiled peanuts, this is the place to get them! You might want to call ahead and make sure they have some ready, because they are fresh and not just sitting in a pot for days like some other places. Their baked goods are all amazing as well. Our personal favorite, when we can get their fast enough, is the lemon pound cake.

This shop is one of my absolute favorite places to go! It's has a very homey feel to it and it's so welcoming! The staff is also so friendly! Everything you find here is fantastic! And the upstairs has such a wonderful selection of locally made items!!! Highly, highly recommend!!!

If you're in the area Maw's is a must. Down home country store. Lots of handmade goods food and otherwise. The apple butter I got there is delicious. It's made by the Hicks family from Deep Gap, NC. It's also the only place I've been able to find Possum's Seasoning on the self. Thanks Maw!!!

We enjoyed stopping by here a few times during our vacation I’m the area. The folks there were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very kind and the food and produce there was incredible! We will swing by again someday!

We bought awesome candles and an awesome cake.

The lady there that was in the apple section was SO helpful & friendly. I know nothing about apples & she let us taste the one's we thought we wanted to buy. I ended up buying a bushel of apples! They have homemade pound cake, pies, cheese, vegetables, steaks, chicken salad & so much more. You must stop in!!

We love Maw’s so so much. The food is always fresh and delicious but the people who work here are the true stars of the show. They’re so kind and helpful. Don’t miss out on the Moravian chicken pies. They’re our favorites! We buy one every time we’re in the area to take back home to Atlanta.
