Fresh tasty food. If Owner Rami is there you are guaranteed to get a really good fresh delicious food. Easy to understand menu with photos. For years their food quality, flavor, taste had been the same as good or better. We appreciate that. Nice clean place. Spacious dine in lounge prices are on the high side, but it's OK. Food is good, food quality , taste and freshness are good ,customer service is good Very small parking lot, with Very tight parking spots. Watch out for your nice car.
Great Food and Fantastic Service. Probably one of the best middle eastern restaurants I have been to. The outside looks like…excrement. It is pretty obvious nobody has put money into this building…ever. This inside is updated like someone actually cares. They care about their customers and the food. Especially the good. Ordered lamb kabobs medium rare and they were medium well but still really good. The rice was light and full of flavor. The waiter was actually really polite. Overall a great meal.
We stopped at this small restaurant after reading good reviews and we were not disappointed. Good food and great service. We had falafel salad and ordered goat baryani to go. The owner is a young guy, very sweet and generous. When he came to know we were from CA, he treated us to the best in house baklava!! We’ll be back whenever we visit Seattle again.
Man was this place a diamond in the rough. The food, the pleasant service, the FALAFEL!! Everything was great. Portion sizes were impressive, the chicken kebabs I got were terrific with a little of the spicy sauce. The salad and dressing were crisp and refreshing to set off the heat from the sauce. The parking lot and surrounding buildings were a little sketchy, but the owners and food were well worth it.
I've been coming to Mawadda Cafe since 2008. It is one of my favorite local food spots. Best gyro in town!!! The customer service is excellent, and it's always a great vibe when dining in. Go check the place out!Food: 5/5
Just ordered the chicken shawarma with the lamb gyos. Let me say that this was absolutely the best Middle Eastern food I have ever eaten so far. Super delicious and flavors were well balanced. I am look forward to coming back. Parking: Maybe 10
Family owned business. Had the pleasure of lunching there on my way back from a soccer game. It was good food, got the Lamb shank with rice and sauce. Their place is cozy and would recommend them to start sajj style shawerma which will be go amazingly with their fresh meats.Food: 5/5
Very very good. The best middle eastern food we have had so far. The falafel is out of this world.
Low key spot, and the guy brought waters and extra hot sauce to the table. Presentation was good and the Greek fries were yummy. The lanterns in the ceiling made our little table kinda romantic!
My experience at Mawada restaurant was nothing short of exquisite - a grand feast for the senses, combining fine dining with the heart of traditional, authentic fare. In an era where authenticity is hard to come by, Mawada has seamlessly woven true tradition with a modern dining experience, resulting in a harmonious symphony of flavors and atmospheres. Right from the first bite of the Sultani, I was transported. This distinctive dish masterfully combined a charbroiled fine meso kabob, juicy lamb, and Smokey chicken bread seared and marinated to perfection. The flavors were outstanding; they simultaneously whispered of time-honored cooking techniques while boldly declaring an innovative twist. The way the spices mingled was a testament to the chef's skills, not overpowering, but rather, lifting each ingredient to its prime. The lamb was tender and succulent, the meso kabob was beautifully charbroiled, while the Smokey chicken bread was an absolutely delightful surprise - it added an element of warmth and depth to the dish, creating a balanced and vibrant palette of flavors. In the sphere of customer service, Mawada stands unrivaled. The staff were not only proficient and professional but also genuinely friendly. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they offered suggestions that were perfectly attuned to our preferences. The service was efficient and unobtrusive, adding to the overall tranquility and high standard of the dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant also deserves a special mention. It managed to be both comfortable and elegant, creating an environment where one could appreciate the nuances of the culinary journey laid out by the chefs. Mawada restaurant is an extraordinary place that serves not just a meal, but a culinary experience embedded in culture and taste. It is a shining beacon in the realm of gastronomy. The restaurant impresses with its thoughtful balance of traditional and modern, with impeccable service and, most importantly, an array of exquisite, intricately flavored dishes that will leave you craving for more. I would highly recommend Mawada to anyone seeking not just a meal but a memorable dining experience. Mawada offers a little bit of culinary magic, and it's that magic that will bring me back, time and time again.
