We are family owned and operated and I really take pride in this area. My mother and grandmother have been doing this for 50 years; so needless to say, I was raised in this environment. My family's goal has always been to offer as much of a home-like atmosphere to someone as possible.
We offer different levels of care for each individual need but I do not charge per service or care level. We operate our assisted living facility with a Limited Nursing Services license. What that tells you is, I have medication technicians monitored by a nurse when needed to administer medication, they monitor the residents, keep a chart on them, work with the physicians, etc... The nursing care is not an extra charge; it is included in our room rate. I also provide the meals, assistance with activities of daily living, laundry, housekeeping and activities in my room rate. We have no hidden costs. Whether you need a lot of care or just a little, my Limited Nursing Services license enables me to provide both.
Our room rate for the assisted living starts at $2,450.00 and goes up to $3,300.00 per month with a couple rate being $4,900.00 per month (unless one or the other requires less care, then the rate will go down). We have small privates, larger privates and very large semi-privates all at these rates. As I stated before, this includes everything (except the actual price of your medication and personal needs like depends and pull-ups).
We also have an independent living community. We offer The Hamlets at the opposite end of our building. This area has kitchenettes in some rooms, a community room, up to three daily meals, assistance in emergencies and a secured building. We have decided to offer amenities on a personal request basis. This way we can fit your needs and bill accordingly. There are so many people who remember their medicine, feed themselves and take their own shower; they just need some security and a feeling of safety. This is the life we are trying to offer in our suites. The base rates for the suites right now are $2,650.00 for one person and $4,400.00 per month for a couple. This also includes the utilities and garbage with many other amenities.
We do charge an admission fee for both the assisted living and independent living, which is $850.00. Your room rate or rent will be paid by the month. There is no “buy-in” program.
In-house practitioners are also available to residents of both the assisted living and The Hamlets.
We also provide what we like to call “Day Stay”. You can bring mom or dad in for a few hours, a whole day, every day of the week or just once a week. You decide when you want to come. We will provide services and meals. This cost is only $85.00 per day. We will also give you a shower or two per week if needed. The admission fee for the “Day Stay” is $450.00 and the overnight rate is $105.00 for a 24 hour period.
