Don McBath is an attorney I highly recommend. He is honest, personable, and makes certain every detail is not ignored. He is a man of faith and very dedicated to it. I saw him personally in action at an eight hour, extremely difficult, child custody hearing deposition. I witnessed him in the court room and would certainly not want to be the opposition! I thank God Don was our attorney, and for a positive outcome!
Don is a tremendous lawyer who pays attention to details and does not look at a client as just another file or a number. He completely understands that what he is doing is dealing with your life, and literally the most important things in your life, your children, possessions and finances. As most know the divorce process can be a major financial burden, but Don never once made it about the money and was willing to work with me. Don really came through for me when finishing the final marriage settlement agreement with my ex-spouse who, historically for several years, had not been keen on reasonable negotiation. As we minced out every syllable in the most complex parenting plan you could ever imagine in an all day long decathlon of legal bartering, Don helped us calmly navigate through choppy waters to solutions when arguments would surface. I believe Don was ethical which was important to me, but wasn't afraid to be aggressive and fight for my interests and rights as a father more time with my Children when it was needed. I was happy to have Don on my team going through such a difficult experience in my life and he made it easier for me. Most importantly, he got me the shared time I wanted to be with my beautiful Children. If you want an attorney that will fight for your cause, Don is your guy!

I hired HIM as my divorce Atty in 2011. He promised me how hard he would work to get my divorce completed quickly. I never heard from HIM, only his barely competent staff! I constantly had to correct them AND I was sent several emails that were meant for other other clients with highly sensitive information regarding their divorces cases that should have been secure! At the court date I had never even met the STAFF "atty" Not Donald McBath that came to court AN HOUR LATE! Now Donald McBath is running in the election for JUDGE of Pasco/Pinellas Sixth Circut?? He will never be unbiased or impartial with his HOMOPHOBIC and RACIAL beliefs. He is all over the news spewing hate and INCOMPETENCE.
So I was in a custody case with my ex and paid 15000$ to have him and his team help me. Mediation after mediation i felt like I was being pushed into giving up giving my ex everything she wanted. During the course of things i felt shady things were happening in the background. Sure enough our last mediation I was told he would no longer be my lawyer as he was merging with my ex's lawyer. All that money down the drain and I still had 700$ dollars left on my account that was never offered back to me. All makes since I dont think you should run for judge especially given family history. Shady lawyer and a brother who committed suicide for being under investigation for touching women in his care. Please feel free to have one of your minions respond to me Id love to hear what excuse you have.
I was in the middle of a 5 year divorce when I hired the Mcbath Law Group. Don Mcbath was fantastic and we closed the case in less than a year. He is a true professional and extremely helpful in the world of Family law. I recommend him highly.
He is the absolute worst attorney a person could ever hire do not walk but run in the opposite direction of this attorney. Please look him on prior to any communication you may have with him. Search his name on the Florida Bar and see his numerous counts of misconduct. He should be banned from practicing law as a proactive approach to protecting consumers in need, at the lowest point in their lives. Fighting is a divorce is stressful and even more so when the person you trust you to help you does not have your best interest at heart. Please never ever use this attorney for anything. He had no ETHICS at all.
Handled my case with care and respect. Made me feel as if I was the only client he had. He became the protector of my child when I was unable to do so. Years later we still thank Don McBath for his tenacity to get this case resolved permanently so that my family could move on and prosper.
