If you want to lose your teeth let the Vietnamese girl clean your teeth!! I had been going to McCabe Dental Clinic and seeing this hygienist for years, trusting her care and thinking I was getting great care. Boy was I in for a shock! I recently moved and got re-established with a new dentist office and the new hygienist took a full hour for my cleaning. I was always done in less than 30 mins at McCabe's. I was then told by this new hygienist that I have gum disease and would need to see a specialist. I asked why the sudden change and she explained that this wasn't something that just happens over night. I went for my consultation today with the gum specialist and almost fell out of the chair when I saw what it was going to cost. I am beyond mad and if I lived closer I would go confront this hygienist on why she has not been doing her job, because if she had, I wouldn't be out all this money I'm about to have to pay to get my mouth back to a healthy state. I'm tempted to find out if I can report her to the state dental board for negligent care.

Dr. Matt McCabe provided me with the best and most thorough treatment and customer service I’ve ever received in a medical setting! I was scheduled in as an emergency first-time patient, and he treated me as if I was his own client that he’d known for years. I was given his undivided attention during consultation and procedure, and he was very helpful with his advice and expertise.. My procedure was also painless and time effective. I will definitely use him for all of my dental needs from now on.

This is a great dental office! Staff & dentist are super sweet. Cindy was a great & we couldn’t be happier with our visit. We will be back! Thank you for taking such good care of us!

If I could give zero stars to Dr. McCabe I would! I referred my mother to him because when he did some work for my husband recently he was cheaper than others locally and she is a cash paying customer with no insurance so cost was important to her. She had the worst imaginable experience for several reasons, even now weeks later, she cries talking about it. First they are WAY understaffed with actual dentists to be taking new patients and way over staffed on teen assistants that are unable to help the patients on their own. She spent more than 3 hours in his chair, mostly waiting unattended for periods of 45 at a time as he saw many other patients throughout her apt. The actual extraction of her tooth took a few minutes so it's unclear why he didn't just get it done and get her out if there and the actual work he did was incredibly rough and painful and he acted as if he was angry at her.  As he returned after one of the 45 minute waits she jokingly said, "I thought you forgot about me" and he turned around and yelled at her saying " I guess you forgot to cone back a week ago like I told you to". It was all down hill from there. My husband only needed a broken tooth repaired so the work wasn't as painful but he did say that he was very rough administering the numbing shots and had terrible bedside manner. He also spent over 3 hours in the chair as he left to treat other patients every few minutes and felt as though he was rude and didn't understand why. He's clearly overworked. Spend your money elsewhere. Trust me!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. I am a cash patient in nursing school. This office charged me $1,000.00 for a crown that 1. I did not want, I refused it TWICE and 2. I do not have, it is still at their office. Yet they sent me to collections because I refused to pay for something I said I did not want nor do I have. The office manager was EXTREMELY rude. Thanks for the credit hit!

I have recently moved permanently to the Coast .  I was Amazed at how well they handled the Covid Precautions . They asked me to call when I arrived and then allowed me in . No one was in the waiting room . I was escorted back straight back to my room . I was diagnosed with a cracked tooth . Dr Matt explained 2 options in great detail. My sister was a dental hygienist . Dr Matt allowed me to call my sister in N.O. and left the room . My sister told me which option to choose . Dr Matt was FANTASTIC and more than Helpful and Supportive . ---None Better .---  P.S. His staff also reflect his true caring and were most gracious .----Thanks Team

My first visit was 03/05/2015.  I live in Picayune, MS but the closest dentist that would accept my insurance was the McCabe Dental Clinic in Gulfport, MS.  I arrived to find a pleasant, comfortable office that was staffed with a pleasant, polite, and very helpful staff.  I was seen by Dr. Michael McCabe DDS.  His friendly demeanor almost instantly put me at ease.  He actually had the time to spend a few minutes just getting to know me.  It's a wonderful feeling to be treated as a person and, not just a number, to treat and dismiss.  The exam went well and my treatment planned and performed very well.  The office staff scheduled my follow-up appoint to coincide with a routine cleaning to accommodate a single trip instead of multiple hour and fifteen minute one-way drives.  My wife and I have found our new dental home.  I will gladly make the drive to and from to remain a patient.

You have to go to McCabe dental - they are amazing.  I am always hesitant to use a dentist if they have no reviews but I lost a filling and was in a ton of pain and need and in network dentist asap. McCabe dentistry was such a lucky find!  The receptionist was pleasant over the phone.  When I arrived they were super helpful even though I was that annoying person whose insurance was brand new and didn't have her insurance paperwork because my provider was snowed in.  They worked extremely hard to get in touch with the insurance company because I need a root canal and they genuinely didn't want me to pay out of pocket. We ended the appointment saying we would wait because my pain subsided BUT if I ended up in any pain whatsoever -they would see me last minute no exceptions because my dentist Michael McCabe does not like his patience to be in pain. During the appointment he was warm but honest and really cared.  The dental assistant was engaging and professional as well.  The office itself is very clean, overlooks the water from the waiting room and the patient rooms and has flat screen TV that they try to change to something you will like.  I HATED going to the dentist and was very nervous BUT this changed my whole outlook on the experience because I left feeling like I was in capable hands, and that they were never going to over charge me.

Dr. Matthew McCabe is an excellent doctor dedicated to his patients. He has been taking care of our family for more than five years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Matthew Mccabe for at least 5 years now. I used to be afraid going to dentist but Dr Mccabe truly is the best! He cares about patients and very knowledgeable. He always does such a great work on my teeth!
