Doctor Kristen McCarthy has been our doctor for 5 yrs since we moved to MA. My husband and I have been so happy with her that we recommended her to several other neighbors, and she is also my mother in law's doctor. She is also very pleased with her. It is not easy to move and switch all your doctors but she made the change very easy and helped us finding specialists. Dr. MCCarthy is smart, kind, compassionate and I think anyone would be lucky to have her treating them.
Dr. McCarthy is very kind, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail. I love that she has a holistic approach to medical issues. I get Osteopathic Manipulation Treatments every month from her and I always leave feeling a lot better! Very happy to have found her and I would recommend her very highly!
I went to Doctor McCarthy for a pain in my back that I was nervous about to due losing several family members to cancer which started with a pain in their back! Including my Mom I got several different vague answers of what the pain was caused by after I had an xray. Let me say,... I never spoke wth Dr. McCarthy after that xray .only the nurse practitioner and the receptionist!!! Who read the notes to me over the phone.....which was "the xray was nothing to worry about and make an appointment with a colonoscopy." At first I was told by the nurse practitioner that my xray showed abnormalities I did..not hear this from Dr. McCarthy. So, I had so many questions about my back as well as other symptoms that absolutely could be related! I was quite concerned about all of this, but never heard from her until I insisted. I felt brushed off. I would Not trust my health in her hands. And my family members and friends were just as appalled. Please know, I am not one to leave reviews, but I really do feel it's important to share this experience. Too many times doctors downplay our symptoms and they end up being serious issues! My mother was one of those people!! We need to be our own advocates and not automatically believe that doctors know all. They don't always. Please do not allow her or any other doctor not take your symptoms seriously, or not follow up on a diagnosis. I had so many questions that neither the nurse or the receptionist could answer. I should never have to hunt down those answers. I will no longer be her patient.
Love Dr. McCarthy. She has a very gentle bedside manner and holistic approach to functional medicine. Cannot recommend her enough.
I have been with Dr McCarthy for 6 years now She is one of the kindest greatest Dr I have ever had She is my rock when it comes to trusting a Dr She mentally supported me in my weight loss She praised me every step of my journey of 95 lbs She was alway there for me like I was the most important Witch helped me through many medical issues Even in times of panic and tears she always made me feel safe with high blood pressure and many other issues She treats you like family a beautiful medical earth Angel That goes above and beyond she deserves 10 stars Thank you Dr Mc Carthy for every moment of your time and support God bless you
