Needs some refurb. Almost all the baskets have eroded away as much as a foot from the original placements, but that's due to a almost every basket RIGHT next to the creek and b lots of woods. When wet it's absolutely unplayable. Short version is VERY short. Pretty much drive and putt. Long version seems a bit pointlessly risky with so many forced water carries and a lot of overgrowth. Some very confusing routing that seems to trip up most first timers. Hopefully you'll have someone nearby that can point you in the right direction. Watch for poison ivy when you're in the creek.
Played multiple times. Has 2 tee boxes. I play short box, which provides plenty of birdie and a couple eagle opportunities. Is fun. Best is -13. If play back tees there is more danger. I might try one day. Do not go after it rains. Wait a couple days. On the short tee boxes, there are a few that are very short. So enjoy and get a great score!
Quite beautiful and surprisingly peaceful despite being of the ever busy 423.
Course has a mix of very challenging holes and some extremely easy holes. The red tees in my opinion are somewhat too easy of a course but the blues are way too long and challenging for an average player. The course has great potential but it's got issues. There's almost always standing water and a couple of hours and therefore mud. There's a creek that comes into play for quite a few holes and there's not that many easy places to cross our to access your disc if you go in or across the creek. Currently there is cut down trees on nearly every hole that have not been cleaned up so there is piles of limbs and kids everywhere which are obstacles while playing.
Great challenging course for beginners. Lots of water spaces to lose discs in so be careful RIP my grey Tour series Heat. I suggest you use discs here that you would see in murky water. Absolutely do not play after a couple of rainy days. Great park tho
Every basket is near a cliff on the creek, should be fine in a drought but it was quite annoying during wet season
It is a fun course to play. It needs a little bit of work. There is no good drainage. After it rains it's pretty muddy out there.
This is my favorite course in the Dallas area and as if I couldn't love it more, they just put in 2 porta potties and a sanitizing station. HUGE perk if you're a female thrower. Nice short shots from the red pad for those that don't have the strongest arm and blue pads for those more advanced players. There is some water to contend with and some wooded areas. It does see a lot of water run off after it rains.
Second time and while I do think it's a nice course when dry, and I haven't lost any in there yet, some of those basket placements seem poor and a few could be made safer. Not too crowded during a weekday, with walkers or disc, so that's a plus. Very cart friendly. Decent mix of mostly shorts, some longs ,with alternate tees. Feels just this side of a 4 star to me, still fun.
This course has long holes and several opportunities to lose a disc in a creek, but it is SOOOO rewarding to have a good round here. It's a natural runoff drainage area, so stay away for a week after any significant rain, or you will be sinking in mud much of the time. During the summer it is nice to play because it has so much shade from the Texas sun.
