"McClure’s Fish House & More opened in March of 2019 and is located on Park Avenue in Meadville. McClure’s is one of four recipients that received Meadville’s first EAGR Grant that helps with revitalizing downtown.“We want to welcome everyone to come on down to try our big fish and whole wings”, said Maurice. “We couldn’t be where we are today without all of the community’s support. So thank you all!”"

First visit for us and we weren't disappointed. I was able to get a perch dinner and hubby liked grilled or baked and he got his halibut. Owner was very friendly. It is mainly fish dinners but they did have a pork chop dinner special for those that don't like fish.
5 star! I love how the breading for the fish is gluten free and it is made in house. Eat here. You won't regret it. My family and I order the family pack of fish and get 2 of each kind because they are all so good!!! It is still good warmed up the next day in the oven and even good to eat cold for that matter. And the large chicken wings are huge and also tastes amazing but I prefer the fish. I swear the secret ingredient is love. Mr. McClure seems like he takes great pride in his food and we have never had a bad experience here! Everyone behind the counter is so sweet and Buffy is just the best! Highly recommended!
How have I not left a review before this? This is absolutely the best fried fish I've ever had! The breading is light, super crispy and perfectly seasoned. The fish is hot, moist and flakey. Also, the chicken wings are delicious. If you haven't been, it's time!
Excellent food, I got a burger n fries, the burger was freshly made and reminded me of the burgers my parents made when growing up. Service was great, very friendly and kept checking on me. Would highly recommend to others!
Good food, friendly service, and decent price to portion ratio. Catfish dinner with red beans and rice was excellent. Will be back.
Tried the food for the first time...love the inside when you walk in. Prices are fair. Food was good although I feel like the collard greens need some flavor thrown into it for me it's the sides that make the whole meal perfect to compliment the finished product...also loved that the fish was still crispy by the time I got home.
Delicious was in Meadville for a Dr appointment and stopped there for takeout I got the catfish dinner and my boyfriend got the walleye dinner with a side of onion rings and coleslaw the best fish dinner that we have had in ages loved the breading very tasty will definitely go there again very friendly and efficient love love love

This was my second visit to McClure's, I have enjoyed my food both times! I have tried and liked both the cod and haddock so far... Of the two I liked the cod more... I'm not usually a fan of hush puppies because they're often bland but the ones at McClure's are definitely not... I especially liked them with a small drop of hot sauce... Also the onion rings are delicious! They're crisp and nicely batter dipped!! The restaurant staff were amazing both visits as well!! The only improvement I would make is AC... But often that's not even needed around here... I definitely recommend this little locally owned gem!!
Ate here finally for the first time tonight. And all I can say is "WOW"!!!! What an awesome experience. The counter lady, Kelly was absolutely wonderful!!! The food was absolutely amazing. I had the the 1 piece fish and 3 wing combo. You get so much food for such a great price. The owner Maurice was very friendly and a delight to talk to. Please support this local business!!!
