They did a such a beautiful job with my dad’s wake and funeral-literally took care of everything for you- from helping write the obituary and contacting the newspaper to have it published, obtaining the death certificate and requesting copies, choosing the casket, printing the Saint cards, memorial cards, thank you cards, guest book, organizing the service with the church, contacting the cemetery, bringing flowers to the cemetery, laying out flowers, explaining the process, photo slideshow, etc. They made the process smoother than we thought it could be which allowed us to grieve and know that all was taken care of in regards to the obituary, wake, funeral, and burial. Everyone we interacted with was so kind and accommodating and I can’t recommend them enough if you find yourself losing a loved one. *The only thing we had to do was order flowers and obviously choose a restaurant if you’re having a reception after the funeral and burial service.
I give McGouls my strongest recommendation. The facilities are of the first quality and impeccably maintained. Just as important are the sympathy, respect and professionalism they showed my family and me as they guided us through the entire process. Communication could not have been better. Their support and attention to detail were invaluable, especially at such a difficult time, when there are so many things other things to worry about.
Obviously no one is looking to do business with a funeral home, but if you are looking for a place to take care of your loved one after their passing I would highly recommend McHouls! After the passing of our baby girl, my wife and I chose McHouls to handle our arrangements. I wont go into extreme detail, but the amount of compassion and love they show throughout the entire process exceeded any expectations we had. Almost as if they lost a loved one themselves. This was a terrible tragedy for us to deal with, and they were able to take care of so much for us. They really care, and I feel that's the most important thing when dealing with the death of someone you love. I really can't thank them enough.

Dear Peter & Lori: It’s been a 9 month delay in thanking you both for handling my husband’s wake for Richard Ginther Sr. on August 8, 2020.
