A 40-acre park established in 1958 in what was, at the time, the edge of Springfield. Includes a playground, swimming pool, tennis and Pickleball courts and the Meador Baseball/Softball Sports Complex.
Named for Drury Professor L.E. Meador (1881-1975) who taught political science and economics at Drury for 43 years. Meador also who chaired the commission that drafted the Springfield City Charter, adopted by Springfield voters in 1953.
