All the bad reviews here are accurate. I would give Zero too but it’s not an option. This my second time coming here and both time the wait was excessive and an appointment was required. This is not an urgent walking clinic. Both time they asked me to wait in the car and they never called me back. First time I was there for an infection in my fingers. I called multiple to check on my appointment status and they never answered their phone, so I walked back in. I was seen but had to wait forever in the front and the back. They prescribed me antibiotics that did absolutely nothing because it was such a small dose. I am generally don’t take medication unless I have to. I mentioned to the doctor that I type a lot for work and I am in pain since my infection in two fingers per hand. Today I came in for COVID test and was told they will call me when it’s my turn and a doctor will meet me outside to do the test. My estimate call time was 3:45 and I have not gotten a call yet. Called them multiple times to check on status and no one picked up. Both visit there were only two patients in the lobby. They are a very slow practice for such a long wait period. I think they intentionally, run COVID patients away and lie to them about a call back promise just because they don’t want to deal with COVID exposure. Then they should either say that they do not conduct testing for COVID or/ don’t call themselves urgent care or both lol. Go somewhere else. You will probably save time by going a little further.
After reading the reviews to this place I was unsure. But I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since I know sometimes only the bad reviews are what get written and rarely the good. So I had a pimple in my nose that got inflamed. This has happened to be in the past so I knew to catch it early before it turned into a more serious infection. I figured since this place was so close I’ll go get it checked out. When she prescribed me the medicine I told her one antibiotic in the past did not work for me. However i was catching it early so I figured it might work plus she is the doctor not me. So the next day after starting my medication the pain was getting worse and noticeable difference in the swelling was getting worse. So instead of calling I went back in since it’s Saturday and they are closed Sunday and told her this is the medicine that didn’t work the last time and showed her what I was prescribed before that actually worked. She then told me to be patient and this medicine will kick in. Instead of arguing I just said ok. Well now it’s Sunday. My nose is 3x worse than Friday. I’m in pain and now will have to probably go to another urgent care Or hospital since everything is closed Sunday which I was trying to avoid. I understand I’m not a doctor but it’s extremely frustrating when I know my body and they refuse to listen. I’m only giving this a second star cause the wait wasn’t long and the reception staff was very helpful. UPDATE: so I ended up going to the hospital Sunday evening. I was looked at by the doc and prescribed a stronger med immediately. On Monday evening I was called by the doctor telling me my culture came back and that they wanted to put me on a stronger antibiotic shocker I let them know I already was. Then Tuesday the doctor that saw me called me to tell me the same thing. And that in the future I should mention that I need the stronger one….. which I did multiple times! Anyways check other places before deciding to come here. It’s really not worth it.
Went in for a regular physical, the nurse had a tone with me the entire time and I felt like she hated everyone who walked in. She seemed competent at least so I can't complain too much.
It is the worst care I have received, they do not have customer service, I went to a consultation with the doctor Ghasemzadeh and they took the data of my medical insurance, they made a copy of it and I filled out the forms they ask for, when I finished the consultation there was no one at the front end and I asked the doctor if I could go because they had taken my insurance information and she told me to go. After 10 minutes, the secretary sent me an e-mail, called my emergency contact and called me to tell me that I left without paying and that I should come back to pay for the consultation. I came back and they billed my credit card for $125. It seemed strange to me because I had covered my plan's deductible this year and I should only have to pay 25% of the value of the consultation. I called my health insurance and they told me that my plan does not have co-pay that the doctor's office should send them the bill and then that the insurance covers them, they should send me a bill with the outstanding balance. I call the front end of Medics USA and the secretary told me that this was my co-pay $125, I asked her??? How much the consultation costs??? 650??? and She answer me…YES. I spoke with the billing department and they told me that they would send the bill to my insurance and then they would refund my credit card as my insurance informed me. Stay away from Medics USA, it is the worst care I have received and I felt cheated
Medics USA has always been a solid provider for me and my family. You can usually get a quick appointment instead of waiting for days with other providers. Doctors are very good and the receptionist is really a nice and decent human being, which is a rare in my opinion. Been with them for many years and never had a problem at all. I am not a big reviewer but after my last visit where they went above and beyond I felt I should let others know.
DO NOT COME HERE FOR URGENT CARE!!!! Today I brought my son there to test for strep throat. Receptionist said “doctors do not see SICK patients in the office. Only for well visit. I need to call to make appointment for teleconference checkup and then drive by in my car for doctor to administer the test”. No sick patient in urgent care!!!! False advertisement for no appointments needed and definitely NOT urgent care. Worst medical facility I have been to. Rude receptionist. I would rate ZERO if I could. Had I read reviews I would not have bothered with this place.
I’ve never been to a place , let alone a medical facility , that charges for a disposable mask. I had to run my card for $2 to buy a blue disposable mask to my appointment. Which after 30min I ended up needing to reschedule since it took so long, so I never got seen. On top of that this facility is rather dirty , old, and a bit run down. They are not very good at customer service. I will be changing my primary doctor.
Sign says no appointment necessary until 7 p.m. I just left @6:45 after being refused to be seen because she's already closed out her books. Thanks guys appreciate the help. sarcasm intended
One of my best healthcare experiences! Dr. Ghasemzadeh and staff were kind, patient, capable and efficient. I came with an aching ear and soon left with ears cleared of wax and a prescription for antibiotics to use if necessary. Highly recommended.
They'll get you in for an appointment fast, but when it comes to getting referrals, for example, they are either reluctant to lose business and it is business at the end of the day...don't kid yourself or incompetent. They even told me twice they would send me the referral to another provider, gave themselves a deadline, and did not ultimately send it.
