First time here and I saw Katie. She was the literally the best coming from Carillon and never feeling heard to having Katie take her time and listen to my concerns. Super personable and very easy to talk to. 100% recommend Katie.
Horrible place. I remember asking one time about headaches I was having. She said that's not why you said you was here. We're not talking about that. I was blown away. Everytime I need a refill I'm lucky if I ever get it at all. You can't call for a refill but they don't refill my scripts ever! Stopped giving me my inhaler for no reason, said I needed to come back only after 3 months. Mo ey hungery careless place. go anywhere else, literally anywhere!
Dr. Belton does her job, other then giving out some very silly dietary advice, and is pleasant. I think that if I became very ill, that she would look after me. The office staff are very rude, almost uniformly. This has been echoed by enough reviewers that the doctors should do something about this.
I am fortunate to be a patient here. The care is outstanding. Dr. Belton and Nicole Crowder, NP, see me and my whole family. The staff is always professional abs caring too. If you are diabetic, they do such a fabulous job of monitoring your diabetes care.
I am so impressed with Nicole Crowder with her knowledge, experience, and manner in which she respectfully treats her patients. My husband now also comes to her as our general care provider and diabetes specialist. I have also referred her to other friends, who now see her. I originally saw her in Salem at Lewis Gale, and when she moved to the offices in Blacksburg, I began seeing her there, even though I live in Roanoke, Va. It is worth the commute, especially when you find a great medical facility and staff.
Nicole crowder only cares about a dollar$ if you want your loved ones to get thier insulin do not go there she does not send correct medicines to pharmacy. Her nurse connie her office clerk Sarah Miller and Nicole the diabetes educator all are rude and disrespectful and non caring for another human life. PLEASE WHEN I SAY THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING HERE AND READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE MAKING A DECISION. Worst diabetes educator in the new river valley! If I could give no stars I would or even minus 100 stars. PLEASE READ OKEASE READ. Today is November 8th 2022 my mother died and it reverts back to Nicole crowder and her negligence. So please think twice she only likes $ she doe not care.
I’ve seen Dr. Belton for several years now and she’s the best physician I’ve ever had. She’s thorough, extraordinarily responsive, highly intelligent, never makes me feel hurried and has excellent bedside manner. 10/10 recommend.
I've seen a few doctor's over the years comeing her mostly with DR. Beato and MY Current Physician Nicole Crowder And her head nurse Connie can't say Anough about these 2 ladies I can say it's like Batman and Robin They have nothing but my health and safety at heart. Whether it's routine appointments or whether I Need a Medication called in to the pharmacy you don't have to wait allday they simply don't forget nothing this office makes you feel like family. SO I GIVE THIS PLACE 5 STARS!!!Enjoy your time here.,
I have been seeing Carol Ballard FNP here for over 6 years. I'm diabetic and have my share of issues and on top of that I'm picky and prefer holistic treatments when ever possible. Carol is friendly, patient or she would have already given me the boot. She doesn't always agree with my choices, but she respects them. I have never experienced a rude person there. The lab techs are great too. Yes, I have to keep up with my own medical needs and scripts and occasionally point something out, but I've seen lots of Doc's in the NRV and feel MASWVA is top notch. Appointment's aren't hard to come by and I feel the wait is reasonable. Remember I'm picky.
Zero stars is more like it...Seeing all the negative comments about the customer service does not surprise me at all. My daughter, who attends university in the area, was seen in this office and Sarah at the front desk was rude and very unprofessional. My daughter gave Sarah her name first and last upon check-in and Sarah gave her the paper work for another patient with the same first name, different last name. When my daughter realized this and brought it back to her, Sarah's response was "I literally just asked you your name." What an appalling response on the cusp of a HIPAA violation! She gave her first and last name- you gave the wrong patient information to her to review. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Amber the office manager who was very argumentative and rude. Where is the patient care?!?!? This office needs some re-training on interactions with patients. I would not recommend this office to anyone! I left a message for Amber the office manager asking that she return my call to discuss my daughters experience...and she never returned my call. Again, not surprised. Hopefully the doctors or owners of the practice will read through these terrible reviews left by their patients and make some changes.
