Our ingredients are thoughtfully chosen and flavors creatively combined. The MED’s menu stretches the palate by combining fresh California produce with traditional flavors from the Mediterranean. Bringing incredible tasting tapas that you might find yourself eating at a bar in Spain to the comfort of the Hermosa Beach Pier.
We aren’t a one trick pony when it comes to drinks. We push the envelope and carry more than a few things you may have never heard of. [The MED] is the place to try something new, shake it up a bit… who knows you may find a new favorite or two! With 30 craft beers on tap, select wines from around the world, classic cocktails made with perfection, an extensive bottled beer collection and house infused liquors… chances are we’ve got something you’re gonna love.
Our drink menu changes as quickly and as often as we pour ‘em, [which is a lot!] and our close relationships with breweries and wineries give [The MED] a one-up when it comes to our wide selection.
We have South Bay’s finest behind the bar mixing classic cocktails with a knowledge and thirst for their craft. [The MED] is proud to employ three sommeliers and one cicerone (a beer sommelier). We’ve also been known to have a “Pliny The Younger” night and are one of the only bars in LA with cask ales.
