I highly recommend MedStar Health PT at the Sparks location. The staff is professional, highly competent, and friendly. The facility is well equipped with access to the USA Lacrosse Center's fitness facility. The Physical Therapist I saw was Jonathan Rouse. He was fabulous! He explained everything well, he listened to me and adjusted my therapy as needed. I improved dramatically, and I believe I have avoided surgery as a result of the care I received here. The rest of the staff there was top notch, too. I have recommended this site to others and if I ever need PT again, I'll not hesitate to come here.
MedStar Physical Therapy located in Hunt Valley /Sparks MD have been awesome to deal with from Liz who handles the scheduling and front office duties to the support staff located in the Therapy area, Ellie and especially my Therapist Jonathan. This is only the 2nd time I’ve ever used a PT facility but Jon has been amazing to work with. I recently had hip replacement surgery at a MedStar hospital and I decided to stay with a MedStar PT facility after the surgery close to my home and my wife’s office. Jon and his support staff are extremely knowledgeable and well equipped to work with me to get me back on my feet as quick as possible. The whole group has been very positive in their approach and very friendly and welcoming. I would strongly recommend this particular MedStar PT facility if you are looking for top notch care in the Physical Therapy world in Northern Baltimore County.
I love when a business feels more like a family. Everyone there is so nice and pleasant to speak with. You can tell they have you’re best interest at heart. Dr Kindschi and Rebecca are amazing! Dr. Kindschi went out of her way to help me out and get me and MRI. Even though it wasn’t good news she has done an incredible job of helping me through the injury. Rebecca Schumer has been there to help keep me accountable and walk me through the worst injury of my running career. They are great at what they do and have me well on my way to getting back to my marathons. Highly recommend, wonderful service.
I originally went to PT at medstar hv because of the convenience of being in the same office as my orthopedic surgeon had an ACL reconstruction. But my experience with Becca Schumer as my PT made me want to stay. Becca is someone who would let me do as much as I could, safely. It’s hard not to want to fast forward when recovering but I trusted Becca’s judgement on when I could do certain things running, etc. Towards the end, I would also go to strength training in the same building which was convenient as well. Having such a great experience with a PT is an odd relationship because I didn’t want to leave Becca, but I did want to “graduate” from PT. A few years later I hurt my wrist and although I wasn’t excited to get hurt, I was kind of excited because it meant I got to see Becca. Cannot recommend her and this place enough!!
I was only with MedStar several weeks, but the staff and customer onboarding process was top notch. My therapist Rebecca Schumer was great! Very knowledgeable, attentive, focused and creative in ways to attack the problem. I would recommend them to my family, kids or friends with no concerns.
I highly recommend Jon and the team at MedStar Hunt Valley. My daughter received physical therapy with him after two surgeries. He always listened and expertly addressed her concerns with the perfect mix of understanding and encouragement. Every time she leaves there she feels better! It is a very positive environment.
My physical therapist, Jonathan Rouse was spectacular. From my first visit before surgery to my final session, he took me step-by-step on the path to full recovery. He also worked in unison with my surgical team. Professional, friendly, helpful—and not afraid to push me too. A completely positive experience that I am truly grateful for.
If I could give more than 5 stars for the top notch therapy I received from Jon Rouse at the Hunt Valley location, I would. I’ve never needed PT before and really did not know what to expect. Jon was always a calm, steady and reassuring presence and his clinical expertise was excellent. And when Ellie was needed to lend a hand, she was a wonderful help as well. From Liz, at the front desk, to Jon and Ellie, I highly recommend this practice for any PT needs.
I would highly recommend the MedStar Physical Therapy of Hunt Valley, great facility and staff. I started physical therapy with Rebecca Schumer back in 2016 after my first rotator cuff surgery. She is very knowledgeable and understanding of my needs while helping me achieve my goals. I was so pleased that I went back to Becca after my other rotator cuff surgery in 2020. The experience was even better and faster this time. I ended up back there again to see Becca in 2021 after my back surgery. I also saw John a few times and he is great as well. I have and will continue to highly recommend this facility and it’s staff.
I highly recommend the physical therapy group at Hunt Valley. Rebecca Schumer was my physical therapist and she is terrific. My specific therapy included Dry Needling along with massages, stretching and strengthening exercises. Rebecca not only addressed the pain I was having in my calf but worked on all of the muscles that needed therapy in my legs, hips and back. Her care and treatment plan for me was outstanding and her knowledge of the body is incredible. I've tried ATI and Pivot but they don't compare to MedStar.
