Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry

After reading all of the not so positive reviews, I was nervous about my visit today for an oral consultation. I prayed and went for it! I'm glad I did! My experience was amazing! I was welcomed and clearly informed of each step from start to finish! I wish I could remember everyone's name that HELPED me today! THEY WERE ALL SO KIND! That's a rare find these days! Patients that needed additional help with paperwork, transport, or interpretation, had their own personal "ambassador " to assist! I'm impressed with my visit today! The facility was clean and comfortable. I was DONE in a short amount of time, to be a walk-in patient!

The lead dentist is great but the downstairs staff extremely very rude and completely unsympathetic to the patients. My grandmother is very disabled mentally and physically and they wouldn't let me stay with her. I told them to take good care of her if they're going to make me leave. Come to find out she had been wandering around the parking lot unsupervised. Thankfully she found her way back but we will not be returning. Also expect to wait 3-4 hours every time you come regardless of whether or not you have an appointment. I feel so sorry for people who have no choice but to come here due to financial status because it is very low quality care.

My wife and I use MeHarry Dental School. Always impressed with their students and services. Highly recommend if you live in Nashville.

Thanking God for this school!!!They were Super Affordable when Everybody else tried to rip me off; they saw me very quickly and pulled 3 Wisdom Teeth in less than 45 minutes! I’m Forever Grateful for these people!!! Easy, Affordable, and They Got The Job Done‼

Was laid off and looking for some low cost dental to do some fillings. When they learned this they still wanted to charge me and keep charging me. I had already just seen the health department and got X-rays the same day. Were not interested in that and would still charge me to do their own. I asked for them to email me some information about costs and receptionist was rude and refused. Reading reviews here their students do not give the impression that you will be in good hands. Don’t bother. Go somewhere else.

Goodness...no one here never answers the phone. The doctors will not listen to anything you try to tell them about your OWN health and talk over you. This is the ABSOLUTE last time will ever step foot in the place. This is worst experience I've ever had at a dentist. Very rude, very unprofessional. All the attitude is not called for and if you don't like your job then find another one. Everybody is not going to put up with that ish at all. I know I'm not. Wonder why no one never support. I wouldn't send a homeless person here.

This has honestly been a better experience then a normal dentist. I came here bc I have 3 kids and can't afford a normal dentist office anymore. After my first appointment for x-rays I kept my same student dentist because she is amazing and cares. She makes me feel so comfortable and cares about any pain I have. She also has went out of her way to find a reasonable but effective way to fix my front cracked tooth. She will go on to be an amazing dentist. The only thing I can complain about is how one of the main people there tried to make her feel like she didn't know what she waS talking about because she used the wording which made me understand the plan of action. I won't name any names YET!! Dr. Blair you will be so successful and I'm excited for you to make ur own dentistry!!!

I’ve going here for year and have always received great service’ but now since Covid I’ve have had no teeth because their lab! The first set of dentures weren’t even mine and now have been waiting so long my face has aged severely! I don’t even know who to blame or who to call because no one calls you back!

Went in yesterday. I had a impacted wisdom tooth. They took x-rays. A student came in and didn't really do much or tell me anything I didn't already know then a doctor came in never introduced himself and started asking invasive questions and was making me uncomfortable. Went to the desk to schedule an appointment for MAY 11TH with an infected and impacted wisdom tooth. Prescribed me more Naproxen which I already have been Prescribed. Didnt really need more of it. I paid 134 dollars for absolutely nothing. I called another place that is doing the extraction today in Hendersonville. Save your money and go elsewhere. I never have a good experience at Meharry.

Really horrible experience. My student dentist was unprepared and unsupervised. They lost my x-rays and told me things that were obviously not true. No effort was made to communicate how the multi-appointment system would work. Then, after having an afternoon wasted while they tried to figure out my x-ray situation, they acted as if I was being unreasonable for wanting to know what came next and roughly how long each appointment would take. I genuinely thought the students would be competent professionals ready for the next step in their training. Instead, I got a complete beginner who scraped my gums as she fumbled her way through a basic exam. Just go into debt at real dentist. This was absolutely miserable.
