When in 4 months before my wedding and was greeted upon arrival. Very nice staff and helped with all questions and changes. Finally picked out 4 suits for me and my groomsmen and with a small down payment I was out of there. Picked up suits a few days before the wedding and had an easy return. The price per suit was a little high in my opinion for just two days rental but they are nice suits. Would recommend for special occasion.
Our initial visit was great. Calvin assisted us and was very helpful and very professional. Kate, the alterations lady was very nice as well. However, I never received a call when the suit was back and ready to be picked up. I called 3 times one day and was put on hold twice and hung up on. The young lady asked for my number and promised me a call back which I never received. I called again the following day and was told the suit was ready to be picked up. So, I will see how the next visit to pick the suit up goes. Stay tuned.....
So I dreaded this visit because of all of the awful reviews that I saw on here but my experience was the complete opposite of what I read from others. I went in to be fitted and was greeted personally by an employee who was very cordial and well composed. We conducted our business quickly and another employee stopped what he was doing to help speed the process of measuring me / recording my sizes / and letting me try on jackets as well as shoes. The employees were answered any/all of my questions and I was out of there in a timely manner. Overall a great experience.
No appointments? Had to wait 30 just for someone to acknowledge that we were in the store, then additional time to actually be helped... They need appointments so this does not happen. We drove an hour so my husband could try on his rental suit for a wedding, and had to wait so long here. All of this could have easily been solved by making an appointment when I called this morning and the person on the phone told me that they don't do appointments. Please start making appointments so we don't have to stand around waiting for an hour just to be acknowledged. And we still owe them hundreds of dollars for this lack of service...
Staff was friendly, store is nice. The problem was that they completely missed the measurements for one of the members of the groomsmen even though he was measured same day and time as the groom. The record of that wasnt even in their system. The problem luckily was resolved promptly. The other problem was that the grooms suit wasnt fitted correctly and neither was the best mans. We made it work. Just frustrating that we paid to have these fittings and no ones sizes changed...the measuring was just done incorrectly, or somewhere in their line of communication, someone got mixed up. Like I said, the store is nice. The staff was friendly, but if the point of the job isnt done correctly, it's difficult to give any better of a review.
You could not pay me to walk through the doors of this place ever again. We went in to check the fit of my tux for my daughters wedding. The young fella at the desk really seemed put off by us or maybe it was when the two girls he was visiting with left. Not even looking in our direction.."name? Wedding party?" I thought he may have been sick as little as he moved and wouldn't even stand. As I was walking out I told the manager how lazy his employee was. My wife also stopped to talk with the manager about him and it was then that this fella told my wife to "get the F out" of his store. The next evening when I went back for larger coat he was still employed there. This is the worst experience of ANY store I have EVER visited! We spent a lot of money at this place.
Unfortunately, this is a repeat of what others have already said. Too bad for me I didn't read reviews before going to this store! First, when we went in to order a tux for prom there was a sign in sheet with just a few people ahead of us. No big deal - but after waiting a bit I realize that others who came in behind us were being waited on. Someone, had scratched through our name and others. I assume this was another customer but who knows. After our extended wait a sales person finally waited on us and took measurements. I expected the tux to come in fit to the measurements. It did not. So, they alter on the spot but that leaves very obvious hem lines on the sleeves of the jacket and while it was an ok fit after they adjusted it - I really wasn't paying $200 for "ok". I'll try somewhere else next time, even if it means a farther drive.
Customer service was extremely helpful. We had a return and they gave us no problems.
My tux pants came in too long. Was told to come back 15m later. Came back 15m later only to be told to come back 30m later. Then charged $20 for not returning the tux on a Sunday. Last year I used Paul Morrel and the experience was perfect in comparison. Look elsewhere.
We were looking for a rental tux and the staff just wanted to hard sell buying a tux. When we made it clear we didn't want to buy, they ignored us. Then, we went across the road to Dillard's. MW is not the same since they got rid of the founder as CEO.
