Upon waiting for assistance 20 minutes we are told we were suppose to check in on the QR code which should be at the front door when you walk in not by the registers. If you walk in and go left as we did you will never see this sign. SAD!
I went in to the store today to purchase a Lauren suit that I saw online. I wanted to make sure that I got the right fit. Not only was I not greeted when I entered, I spent 15-20 minutes trying on jackets and wasn’t even acknowledged by staff. After that, I decided to leave and seek help elsewhere.
My 85 year old friend and I came into this establishment to purchase a suit for her husband that passed on Tuesday 3/2/2023. I traveled from Atlanta to purchase a suit for the funeral. Why? Because my experience in Atlanta 5 years ago during the passing of my brother was GREAT; therefore I was excited to give my friend a chance to see how great the customer service was at Men's Wearhouse was. Well how disappointing was her experience!!. We both walked into the establishment and absolutely no one greeted nor offered any assistance. I decided to give them atleast 15 minutes of our time. To our disbelief no one asked nor did they attempt to assist us. Awful Customer Service !! Is it because we were African American . Is it because the Customer Service here is just Awful?
The customer service here was utterly disgusting. I was not greeted while walking In The door, no one didn’t bother to help me, and while I asked for help, the gentleman just stopped & stared at me like I was being a nuisance.. I highly would not recommend going here. And to say the least, majority of everything is overpriced.
Was in there for almost two hours, waiting just to ask questions and everyone looked in other directions or was having long conversations about everything but the business they came for. Granted it was a lot of people but they kept saying, just a minute please, after the waiting that long, l just told my hubby to forget it.
We had such a bad experience here today we found a suit my fiance liked for our wedding and I ordered it online instead of purchasing in the store. After not being greeted, a woman walked up to us as we were trying on suits informing us that the one my fiance was trying on was the wrong size it wasn't... I found a fitting room that was opened, helped him into a jacket myself, waited for an open mirror had him stand up there, cuffed his pants up myself, checked the waist, seat, and the sleeve length to eye ball appropriate alterations... It's like I should've gotten a paycheck from y'all today. Not one person spoke to us other than to be rude. It's a shame we're so limited in Myrtle Beach to look at suit options.
What a terrible store. Not a single offer of assistance .. zero sport coats / Blazers in 46R in a summer color - unless you are a "slim" or "skinny". Neither suits or Blazers are size marked on hanger ... you have to go to every piece on every rack and look at every sleeve tag. Left without spending the $600 I was planning on.
Ryan helped me get a complete outfit for a fancy wedding I have coming up. He was extremely helpful and friendly and made the experience easy and fun. I am so glad I went to MW for my new black suit and was thrilled to deal with someone like Ryan. Thanks man!! -Steve from St Thomas
I must say I’ve been dealing with Mens Wearhouse for over 20 years. I have never received terrible service, but this location set that bar. When I entered wasn’t even acknowledged and when I returned the tux the same service. The lady who help me was very nice and this review isn’t a reflection of her service. But the main person I’m referring to was a large man with a beard who clearly has a problem….. never again. This experience made me feel as if my money is no good and not wanted. I will never come to this store ever again. As if it matters anyway If I’m at Mrytle beach, I will shop with the competitor.
We went in on Sunday just after the store opened. We saw 2 customers in the store and 3 salesmen. None of the salesmen even acknowledged us. One of the salesmen came to the front counter to take in a suit that someone was returning. That person came in the door after we did. We went over and stood at the counter waiting on him to finish with that customer. After he finished he turned and walked towards the back of the store still not acknowledging us. After he got about halfway to the back, he turned and said he would be right back. This acknowledgment came 30 minutes into us being there and should have happened as he finished with the customer, not after he got to the back of the store. However, he never came back we waited another 15 minutes by the register when three more people came in returning suits. A different salesman came up and said, “Is anyone just returning suits?” One man said he was. The salesman motioned him around us and proceeded to take the suit in. At that point, I began searching on my phone to see if any other stores in the area carry the suit that we were looking for. When he finished waiting on that man, he told the next man behind us to come on up. My wife said, “Excuse me, I just have a question.” In a disgusted tone he just said, “What?” She asked if that was the only Calvin Klein suits that they had which was located next to the register. He said, “Yes, it’s a slim fit” and then proceeded to wait on the next customer. I told my wife that I had failed that Belks in the mall carry Calvin Klein suits. We left and one across the parking lot to Belks where we found what we needed for less than half the price! We had originally gone to Men’s Wearhouse because we had to coordinate suits for people between three different states for a wedding. The person in Pennsylvania had gotten his suit from Men’s Wearhouse in Pittsburgh. He sent us what he had so that we could match it at the store here. They were not professional and their suits were grossly overpriced! We will not be back to that store! If anyone needs a suit, I suggest going to Belks in the mall and spend far less money!
