This place is beautiful my dog loved it but DO NOT make the mistake of leaving any item behind. It has been a hassle trying to get it back. The service you book your stay with is extremely unhelpful. I have been trying to get the item back for three weeks and no one seems to be able to help even though they confirmed that they found it. They keep saying they will call so I can get it back and they never do. Keep saying they're sending emails that are somehow never received. Very frustrating >:
These cabins are very cute and are on nice property, however the cabin itself could use some fixing up. Pros are the kiddo loved the playground that was on the grounds and it’s very close to the winery, which is very nice. Cons are the cabins seem a bit old and need maintenance on small things here and there. Overall a nice stay and we would go back again.
Going for a girls weekend to celebrate my best friends birthday. We book a enchanted cabin, or we thought. Upon arrival the patio handles we’re moving which isn’t safe. Then we walk in and notice the dinginess and old fixtures that are in the cabin. The loft upstairs showed a bed online. But there was a Airmattress in its place. The loft is about 3 ft in height we had to crawl on our knees to move around. Then we look at the bedroom with had a full bed instead of the twin listed. The bath tub has chipped paint along the tub bottom and made it look dirty. I immediately contacted vacasa who is in charge of the property. She seemed more concern with the cleanliness than the deceived description. Texted back and forth in regards to other availability and no luck. We began looking for other places are self and everything was booked. So we had to sleep in the awful accommodations that were left. The couch pull out bed was hard and every metal spring was felt. During the night we heard a animal eating something that sounded like plastic. This freaked us all out and didn’t allow us to even get sleep. This is not worth the price.
Great location, great little cabins! Perfect for a romantic getaway! We're booking a surprise trip for my parents here as well. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. Bed was comfortable enough and the place was clean and the staff was very friendly.
Shower didn’t work, kitchen faucet difficult to use, overgrown trees along walkway to cabin, outdoor picnic tables were falling apart, the cabin and grounds need a lot of attention! Bed was fair at best. WAY overpriced for what you get! It MAYBE could be rated as a 2 star location it’s DEFINITELY NOT 3 stars! Not worth the money and I have called 3 times to discuss this w the management and they won’t return my calls! DON’T STAY HERE!
We stayed through the 4 of July weekend and had a blast. Cabins are tucked away far enough that it's a quiet retreat , but also smack in the middle of all the wineries and tasting rooms. The rooms and the grill areas are nice and clean. We will definitely be back.Rooms: 5/5
Awesome little cabin in the woods within walking distance to 3-4 wineries with the Mendelbaum winery on site. The Pecan cabin is small but there were only 2 of us so it worked. Very cute and clean. Had full kitchen and Tv’s. Management was so friendly and catered to our needs. Love the location and winery. Great place to stay!
Mendelbaum Cellars cabins are amazing! Michiel is the property manager and will fulfill any needs you have. She and her husband, who manages the tasting room, are incredibly friendly and helpful. As a bonus I was able to hold and coddle their baby!!!! They are very accommodating and literally answer any requests almost immediately. I stayed two nights with a few members of my family and we're already planning a family reunion there next summer. This is definitely one of the best places I have ever stayed!
Well stocked and comfortable little cabin. Nice little playground for kiddos and the wine was awesome. Hot water lasted for 4 showers and the Wi-Fi was great had to work unfortunately so I gave it a good run!. But what really made it awesome was the owner. She was so friendly and so helpful, even finding us someone to deliver food because we had just hiked 10 miles and wanted nothing more than a shower and food. In truth, she was so nice my friend wanted to invite her to our girls weekend we are now going to have that we will definitely be staying here for. LOL! One thing to note - The peach cabin is smaller than it seems on the pictures. If staying as two couples versus one family with kids you'll need to be OK with being a bit on top of each other. Not bad, just a note. :-
Went for a weekend getaway and stayed in the east loft. The room was decently sized but only a full bed for me and my husband to share. No central air or heat. Room was decently clean, but the bathroom wasn't as clean as I expect from similarly priced hotels. Keep in mind that the east loft is connected to the acutal winery and not a separate cabin. The owner is super sweet and easily accessible through phone, but it wasn't the romantic experience I was expecting. Especially when the walls between rooms are paper thin. İt's also right next to the street so all the sounds are pretty loud at night. This is not a place for romance. Pros: 1 10-15 mins from main street, 2 10% discount on wines, 3 good parking 4 very nice owner 5 oven, microwave, and mini fridge if needed Cons: 1 three keys to keep track of to open all the locks 2 no lighting between the parking lot and rooms at night 3super thin walls and sound travels easily 4 no central heating or ac
