We usually go just for the day to enjoy the water park. It’s perfect for a 4 year old and a 1 year old. My only complaint is the lack of shade at the water park side and the pedestrian path to get to the water park is horrible. I usually take my stroller so my youngest can nap and the “road” if you call it that is rough. Then to get into the park there is no ramp to bring my stroller. I have to take my child out and carry it up 3 flights of stairs. I’m not sure how that’s passing code, not being wheel chair assessable. But the staff has only been nice when I’ve gone. My kids love the water park and it’s easy to have my 4 year old play while I have my little play in the shallow water.
My kids and I loved this place so much that we stayed 2 extra nights. The water park is fun for all ages and the slides can handle my weight which was great. The trail to the pool and water park did suck and sometimes it felt a little sketchy when walking over the rocks. The pool was a perfect way to end the day and it closed late which we loved. Jellystone had so many activities for the kids and even did Christmas in July which was so much fun. What I didn't like was that the big pillow, gaga ball pit and the mini golf had no shade at all. If they added shade to these areas that would make the experience for the kids much better. The arcade was ok but a bit of a let down due to the fact that 3 out if the of the arcades didn't work. The arcades that did were always busy and had a wait time before we could use them. The pools inside the lounge were nice but most of the cue sticks were broken. They did have foosball but no ball and one of the handles was broken. We stayed in spot 13 in our RV and it was a perfect spot to block some of the sun and put up a hammock so I could relax. If Jellystone could make a few upgrades to the areas that I mentioned this place would be 5 stars across the board. We are definitely going to come back next time spend our family vacation at Jellystone.
I feel like it was completely over priced for what it was. Our camp spot was quiet and nice. The water park area was nice, but the grounds could use some TLC. A weed eater and a lawn mower would accomplish a lot. The mini golf has some potential but the holes are pushed around and outside of the rope barriers. We had to pay extra for the kids to decorate donuts. Not sure we will ever go out of our way to make this a stop but our kids had fun.
This place needs some attention. They have the bones to make this a great RV resort, but it’s not being maintained well. The splash pad/slides area was dirty. We were there for 3 days and I think I saw the same leaves and junk floating around the whole time. Very little “activities” that you expect to have at a Jellystone… maybe 2 actual organized activities a day. To get to the water slides area you have to cross a rocky ravine and then go up a wobbly wooden narrow deck steps thing. Not convenient for pulling a wagon, cooler or a stroller. Also a large community of full-time RV-ers living in the park. All of these things wouldn’t be that bad if you weren’t paying $$$ for premium “Resort” style entertainment camping.
If you have kids or grandkids and want a great place to b4ing them camping this is a great place. First Jellystone we have been to and brought our adult kids and 5 of our grandkids and we had a blast!! Activities all day for the kids to do. Also cannot beat the water slides. The staff we talked with were very friendly and polite!! Cannot say anything about rooms since we were in our RV.
This is a fantastic location. You can tell that the owners truly care about every camper that comes there way. The water zone is a blast, the kids loved it!Rooms: 5/5
We have been going to TWC Jellystone RV Park for years. Not many years ago, they added gasoline & diesel fuel. The fuel is competitively priced for the area. Amenities for the kids are the best in the area. Pool, hot tub, waterslide, putt putt and more. I've not seen Yogi lately but if the kids are there, Yogi shows up. The convenience store has a lot of snacks, drinks, and items forgotten at home. I did not address the "rooms", I believe they have rentals, but that would be a phone call question to the staff.
The older lady kept eyeballing me as I was waiting for my group and came up with some lame excuse as to why I had to leave. I literally was just sitting doing nothing while waiting for them to greet me and she just couldn't help herself on harassing me. Left and will actively not recommend.
Great RV park!! Absolutely loved the water park on-site, kids and parents had a ball! We had a site that backed up to the creek, very spacious and pretty views. Very close to Fredricksburg and all the wineries/orchards. Check out Jenschke farms about 5 minutes away! Thanks for a great stay!
Stayed in a cabin which was not ready when we arrived despite getting there after check in time, and found it not very well cleaned. Also, while we really enjoyed the water park on the second day of our visit, we were very disappointed to find that they closed it 2 hours early on the first day of our visit Monday as they said it wasn’t busy enough despite a number of guests checking in that day.
