The Menlo Atherton Cooperative Nursery School is located in pleasant park surroundings. Our school’s play-based philosophy relies on the premise that if a child has the opportunity to develop confidence in himself, he will be able to think for himself, make his own decisions, and work out solutions to his own problems. Parent participation is a key component of the program, helping to create the ideal environment in which children’s’ feelings of self-esteem and self-worth can flourish. With the aid of a professional teacher, co-op parents contribute to a loving, caring community of adults and children.
