The agency's longest-standing program is Destiny House, an all-day program designed for adults with severe mental illness. This agency was nationally accredited in 2009 by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
Mental Health Associates of the Triad also offers extensive outpatient services through licensed therapists. The agency provides assessments as well as individual and group therapy. We work cooperatively with other area providers and have a significant presence in the Mental Health and Drug Treatment Therapeutic Courts in Guilford County.
Mental Health Associates is a United Way member agency, supported by the United Way of Greater High Point. Additionally, the agency funds these services through county and state contracts, grants and community support, resulting in little or no cost to the client.
The mission of Mental Health Associates of the Triad is the promotion of good mental health through service provision, advocacy and education.
