The Mercer Island Thrift Store is a non-profit organization, with all proceeds benefiting Mercer Island Youth and Family Services, a Department of the City that supports any resident in need across Mercer Island.
We accept donations from Monday through Saturday between 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Evening appointments are also available, please call to schedule.
The City of Mercer Island's Youth and Family Services Department (MIYFS) provides family and community services and collaborates with others to develop and deliver services to the Mercer Island community.
Our services span generations and address Mercer Island's human service needs. We help individuals, families and the community at large build upon strengths, identify problems and choices and share resources.
Services are supported as a public/private partnership through the City of Mercer Island, the Mercer Island School District, King County, the MIYFS Foundation, private contributions and grants, fundraising and special events and revenues generated by our volunteer-based Thrift Shop.
