I use to work here years ago when I did it honestly wasn’t bad I had two cases and the families were honestly very nice, one of my cases the family really needed help and I did my best to help them and be professional

Quick and efficient. Clean and quiet space, staff is very hospitable and nice.

Terrible place to work no matter the position. I was fired for being threatened at work and standing up for myself. Then I was told to come to the office just to be told I did nothing wrong but still gotta be let go I found a much better job and I’m so happy I’m not with this company the people that work there are very miserable and if they can’t control you well you know… so kma mercy drive

if these past DSP Workers know what is going on why leave..... this place needs help they need real DSP"s at each site judging by the previous comments i cant wait to start working here i want to stick out but in a good way i hope i can leave a good impression on the disabled and my peers see you guys soon

Great company to provide care for patients with traumatic brain injuries, people with physical disabilities, or the elderly. They offer community centers, behavioural support, learning support, housing programs, coordination services, and home caretakers.

DSP ...Full-time or part-time early morning or afternoon cases plus benefits! Paid Orientation and two-day training in the Bronx after job placement .

This is a horrible place to work. They are very disorganized and unprofessional. Especially the queens site. Staff member Tateyana Parham was a team leader and she left an individual with Down syndrome who cannot speak and very unaware of things inside of the mall. No one alerted his parents and all she did was get a demotion. She was supposed to be fired. The team leader Cassandra Johnson is very rude and fat. They have favoritism towards certain staff. This is not a place you would want to work. They are disgusting.

While the Forest Hills staff works professionally with you. The Bronx office for the training does not. Their very rude and needs training in interpersonal skills. Even the manager was nasty. No one knew anything. The direvtor told you one thing and the staff worjing in the bronx said they sont care. After travling fir 2 and a half hours to get there. I should not have had eyes rolling and me or spoke to they way the staff spoke to me and others who came in after me. They need more communication between themselves. After that happened I called the queens office for help and kept getting placed on hold or no one answered. Their nice to get you to go in to the orientation and training. When something happens with their co workers in the Bronx they no longer care. I do not recommended this non profit agency because of how I was talked to and treated by the staff they have working. Their only looking out for each other. Not the you. I am not willing to work for a company who treats others the way they do. I felt like I was less than because I went their for training and not apart of the organization. Pros: They pay you for orientation and training. Cons: not humble at all. Needs training in how to have great interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

My childs case was misplaced more than twice, case workers just leaving and no one ever follows up. If someone assigned to the case and then leaving the agency without informing the client and no one is taking over . Because of them my family had no relief of any kind, and my child was eligible for many services but because they didn't submit paperwork on time we had to do the whole process all over again!!! And now again, I can't get through to anyone to let me know what in the world is going on, OPWDD approved my child AGAIN , and same story Mercy drive fails to do their direct responsibility, most irresponsible, careless and unprofessional !!! They don't care about their clients families and children that in need of them to do their jobs.
