Dr. Newman attended Duke University with a BS in Biological Sciences, where she was the Chair of the Duke Honor Council.
She then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class and as part of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.
After graduation, she was selected for a one-year General Practice Residency at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital, where she served our nation's veterans and helped to rebuild and maintain their smiles.
She completed a two-year Endodontics Specialty Residency at the University of Pittsburgh, where she was Chief Resident. Not only did she train extensively in root canals and all their related procedures, but she also presented research nationally at the American Association of Endodontists' annual conference both years.
Dr. Newman has been with Western New York Dental Group for four years! Dr. Newman truly loves doing root canals and helping patients achieve a pain-free smile. She prides herself on the quality of her work and her communication with patients and her referring dentists. She takes care to make the root canal process as painless, quick, and enjoyable as possible, and enjoys working with children and adults. She loves being part of a dental team and working with dentists to give her patients a painless, functional, and beautiful tooth! Root canals are, believe it or not, her biggest hobby!
Dr. Newman is married with two young sons, and she is also the owner of a 115 pound Doberman.
