About Meridian:
Meridian is a 537-acre subdivision at the intersection of 45 & 1826, adjacent to the Grey Rock Golf Course and southwest of Circle C West. Many consider Meridian a sister community to Circle C Ranch and in fact, many Meridian homeowners have come from Circle C.
It is a relatively new master planned community, with the first homes built in late 2005. At this time, the builders include Meritage, Scott Felder (formerly Newmark), Wilshire, David Weekley and Standard Pacific.
Meridian currently has four sections with a fifth section of one-acre estate home-sites being added. The fifth section has been permitted and roads are being cut (at the end of Meridian Park Blvd).
Drive down Meridian Park Boulevard to Wisteria Valley Drive, and to the right is a section of 55' lots, bordered by Meridian Park Blvd and Espina Drive. Take a right on Espina Drive past the school to Pratolina Drive, and you are in the 100' estate lot section.
On the left side of Meridian Park Blvd at Wisteria Valley Drive is a section with 70' home sites. Farther down Meridian Park Blvd is Mitra Drive, which is the entrance to the 75' and 80' section.
The 55′ and 70' sections are completely built out. The 80′ and 100' sections are in the last phase of build-out.
Meridian has a community park, pavilion and gated community pool, as well as 450 acres of open green space. Additionally, Bear Creek Lake sits adjacent to the elementary school.
Meridian is served by the following Austin ISD schools:
Baldwin Elementary (opened in the Fall of 2010, it is located in the community).
Gorzycki Middle School
Bowie High School
