My brother was a patient in the swing bed unit for approximately 3 weeks. I want to say what an awesome experience we had. The staff went above and beyond at making him and our family feel safe and comfortable. The professionalism shown during his care was exceptional. The daily nursing staff, director, and ancillary staff were very knowledgeable, caring, and showed great concern and interest in my brother’s progress. Thank you so much for being there when we needed such loving kindness!
The ER nurse Kathie was wonderful to me ! After being admitted, all of the nursing staff that cared for me were great! Shirley, Brandi, Lydia, Veronica -I may have forgotten someone but these ladies and anyone else who helped care for me were great! Additionally the cleaning staff and the ones that brought the food trays were all so kind and compassionate and were all so sweet- I’m sorry I don’t have their names. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and it made this very unexpected hospitalization so much more bearable.
They took great care of me when I had my gallbladder removed. I'm so thankful for all the staff at Merit Health Madison. From the minute I arrived I was greeted with smiles and reassured that everything was going to be okay. That they would do everything in their power to get me back home safely too my 3 boys. I would like to say a Big Thank You to each and every one of my nurses and doctors thank you for listening and finally removing my gallbladder
I had my annual mammogram at Merit Health Madison this week and it was a very good experience. Wonderful technician that has been working there for years and she is great! Also, I was in and out in under 30 minutes! Very pleased with the facility and personnel.
Came in on a holiday for a needed outpatient CT scan. The entire process was fast and efficient with a less than 30 minute in and out time. The staff at ER registration and in Radiology were both friendly and professional. I am more than impressed to have gotten such great hospital service right here in Madison County. Great job guys!
Wonderful experience- We experienced great care for our child in the ER. Dr Daniels, the er physician took great care of our child. Tommy, the respiratory therapist was also great with our little boy. He was very nice and his care was wonderful. Over all we had a great experience with the Er staff, respiratory therapist, and Dr Daniel’s. Our little boy was very well taken care of and we felt everyone went above and beyond to make sure his care was exceptional.
I am giving a 5 out of 5. My experience was wonderful. Everyone was so nice and really made made an effort to put me at ease and explain all of my questions. Great experience except for one person.The front desk clerk was extremely unpleasant from the look on her face to her tone and her words. She’s the first face people see when they walk in and she put me on edge first thing. However, everyone else was so nice and quickly turned it around and made me feel better. Maybe she was just having a bad day. It happens to everyone sometimes. I still give y’all 5 stars. Thank you for taking good care of me.
The hospital is clean and well kept, and the medical professionals were very attentive and performed their jobs well. The only negative comment I have is reserved for the receptionist in the hospital lobby. I have visited this particular hospital several times recently, and have encountered her every time. She is very, very rude and it almost seems that she takes pride in being less than courteous. If I were the CEO of Merit Canton, I would find another person for this role, as she is the first person seen when visiting and not the type of person that should be the face of any organization.
Check in time was fast..staff very professional. Technician was friendly and had me in/out quickly. Results were available before I could drive 36 miles back home. I love the pink decor in the mammography room and the calm atmosphere.
The out patient surgery unit was really nice, the nurses and staff were very helpful and informative. Answered all questions and that helped me to relax. Dr. Fiser and his staff were great. Thanks Merit Health for a good experience, I will recommend your hospital to all my friends. God bless!
