Pharmacist are extremely caring and treat you like FAMILY! Been going there forever, was not certain after Sheldon and Pat retired. Sheldon has since passed, but I feel he would be proud of who he has entrusred the place he spent so many years serving the people he loved! I know I am! Keep up the good work, and now of course, we'll miss you "Howard"!Enjoy your retirement. Joanne bownan
Wonderful old fashioned pharmacy! Friendly, clean! They ALWAYS have your prescriptions. And always greet you when you come in.
Very friendly staff. Pharmacist is very knowledgeable and always helpful if I have a question.
Customer service is outstanding. The staff are welcoming and are open and available to assist you. Many OTC items are cost efficient, more so than some of the major drug stores. And they have some hard to find items as well. You're treated like a human being, with kindness.
Excellent customer service, helpful pharmacists, knowledgeable employees. This is an exemplary family owned business. Like a true drugstore, they carry a bit of everything on their shelves and their prices are competitive. I'll never support a corporate pharmacy again.
I would describe this as a pharmacy BOUTIQUE, in the best sense of the term. They have curated a unique and quality collection of items you might expect at a drug store, including some unexpected items. There is an impressive variety within various categories of pharmacy essentials -- e.g. hand sanitizer, masks including N-95 and KN-95, nasal sprays, compression socks -- and they somehow manage to do all of this in a pretty small store without it feeling very crowded or cramped. [That noted, I wasn't passing through here with accessibility in mind. It may be difficult or even impossible to navigate the interior of this store with a wheelchair or other mobility assistive device. I'm not even sure the non-automatic door would be remotely easy-to-use in that regard.] The pharmacist was very friendly and helpful with recommendations including items that would be FSA-eligible. I found the staff to be patient which is a virtue especially these days. There were many items that are covered by a Healthcare Savings Account. The prices may be a tad higher than big-box retailers but don't quote me on that with today's inflation happening... regardless it was not enough to turn me away as I believe in supporting our local businesses when possible and practical. And a trip to Merit Woods was definitely practical as I got everything I was looking for and then some! They even have a healthy stock of pulse oximeters which is an excellent thing to keep in the home nowadays. I should also mention they have a nice little collection of holistic organic toiletry items such as Dr Bronners castile soap and I even spotted a Thieves oil you know, the ol' anti-plague aromatherapy combo product by Young Living that I've never seen before inside a retail establishment. All of this and I didn't even go down all of the aisles there aren't many nor did I fill a prescription. I would definitely recommend a trip here even just to browse and pick up a couple of sundries! Thanks for being part of the community.
Family-owned pharmacy with friendly, helpful staff. Yet to have an issue with a script. One suggestion would be to include printed material on first-time prescriptions of a drug. Good prices on OTC and other health and personal care items. Real good at filling an Rx quickly in a pinch.
I have been a customer at Merit Woods for years. Their professionalism, friendliness and service cannot be matched anywhere. This is a jewel of a pharmacy.
great service. No big corporate pharmacy like CVS or walgreens could provide the level of courtesy, speed or care that I receive at this charming family owned staple of my community.
I remember my mother sending us to Merit's all the way back in the '70s. So nice to see they're still around. Great memories!
