Thought going through a reputable Canadian Chain for a new home build was a safe choice. Nothing but delays, poor workmanship, excuses and issues that remain unsolved over a year later. Disappointed completely and expect so much more. Thanks for the reply...the build was not in my name. This disaster was my children's home.

Great friendly service and was able to get what I came in for. Actually got a pretty good price for the sump pump I was looking for. Will and do always like shopping here . very knowledgeable and helpful staff!

Very helpful staff. If they don't have the answer they try to find someone that does in the store. Has most everything you need. No big box store atmosphere.

Went in to get stain. Had couple paint cards 6 stamps to get free can of paint. Thought they were expired some 2018. Surprise they were good. $62.00 stain no cost. The service was great from the fellow at paint desk to the cashier. Friendly and efficient.

Went in to purchase some paint. The store was almost empty of customers and plenty of staff around but nobody came to help at the paint counter for fifteen minutes - staff saw me, walked past me, and ignored me. I finally asked for help and got a sigh and eye roll. I’d heard their customer service is unpleasant but now that I’ve experienced it for myself, I will not be returning.

Went there to buy a toilet repair kit. I was directed to buy a certain package. After trying to install the kit a couple of times, I realized that it was completely the wrong kit. Went to take the kit back and they would not refund me my money as the kit was a little cosmetically damaged. I didn't know they didn't back up their advice or products. Always try to support local, won't be back again ..... I'll drive the extra 5 mins to Home Depot or Canadian Tire

One of the best hardware stores in the area. ALL the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are one of the few stores whose staff know the location of all items in the store. If it's not available they are so willing to obtain it for you for pick up. MERRETT HOME HARDWARE IS THE ABSOLUTELY BEST SERVICE COMPANY!! 10 's

Staff was completely unpleasant to deal with when returning a rented item. Exasperated and angry that we didn't have paperwork on-hand when we brought the item back despite being told we didn't need it when renting the item, making him have to look through like, 10 papers, to find ours. Will not be renting from here again. Recommend people go to the other, friendly, Home Hardware stores in town.
