At Merrifield Orthodontics we aim to make beautiful smiles in a comfortable environment.

Thank you for visiting our Facebook page! Our office is located in the heart of Northern Virginia in Fairfax County, just outside of the beltway, near the Inova Fairfax Hospital. Completed in December of 2012, our brand new office features completely digital x-rays, records, and charting, which reduces radiation for our patients and increases efficiency of each visits. Merrifield Orthodontics is the resulting culmination of efforts by Dr. Elizabeth Jones and her staff to realize her passion for patient care, her drive for excellence , and her dedication to the science of orthodontics, spanning over five years of experience. We love what we do and we’re delighted at the chance to share our services with you.

So I rarely post reviews...my son just had his last appointment. I will say his teeth are beautiful and I never had a problem with Dr. Jones or any the the technicians in the 3 years we went. However, the office staff is so rude. I won't say names but, particularly S. And G. I literally would get anxiety each time we went and had to make follow up appointments. Front desk people just seem so miserable every time we went in. There were a few nice ones here and there I guess. Today was the icing on the cake when I called to ask a simple question about the rewards program and G. Said to call the number on the back of the card. I said "you mean no one there knows of its sent out by regular mail or email?" She put me on hold and found out it is by regular mail. I proceeded to try to end the conversation and she hung up on me! I have already called other places and we will get our future retainers elsewhere. Teeth turned out great but no desire to return there. Dr. Jones needs to remind her staff to be polite and helpful and not scary.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place at all, since both the doctor and her staff do not know what they are doing. Apart from being rude, they are incompetent that make you spend time and money, since even with health insurance they make you pay out of pocket for the mistakes they make when making suggestions that are not later approved by the insurance, the way of referring to the patients of both the doctor and the staff is very disrespectful and rude, and it is not fair since you are paying for a service and nobody wants to pay for such a poor service since we all deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. again…. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!
Today we had a consultation with my daughter and not only we waited 1 hour but also when Dr. Jones came in she had a very unprofessional and rude behavior towards me and my daughter. I definitely DO NOT recommend this practice to anyone that is expecting quality of care.
This practice is run like a well oiled machine. It’s very efficient; you’re in and out quickly and the service providers are great with kids. Our last technician, Ana Marie, was so kind to my child the last time that I just had to write this review to say thanks.
My daughter got braces with M.O. and had a consistent and great experience with both the front desk staff and Doctor Jones. I am happy to recommend them if you are looking for an Orthodontist PS; we chose her over Iverson for the comprehensive and personalized initial evaluation, and also for the professionalism of the front desk staff. I really feel that my daughter got consistent and great care here.

I came here for about 3 years or so definitely had a great experience the whole time. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. They give you a clear and detailed explanation as to what will be done during treatment from start to finish. I’ve never had a problem with them, Dr. Jones main focus is helping and making your smile better. She does so much to give back to her patients and the community. Many offices wouldn’t do that so you’d be wrong to miss out on all the fun. Especially if you have children.
I am very impressed with the warmth and caring shown to both of my children during their initial consultations this month. Dr. Jones and her staff made my children feel welcome and at ease, and they did a great job walking us through each of their individual needs. I look forward to working with them in the years to come.
I observed how all the staff members were amazing and tend to always have a smile on their faces. This is one of the reasons I enjoy attending my appointments. I would recommend this practice to anyone who likes kindness and awesomeness. Ms.Stephenie was very friendly and I noticed she new some of my teachers at school!!!
I’ve seen Dr. Jones for last 3years with my daughter. She needed oral surgery and braces for 2,5 years! Every time we visited front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. Now it’s my turn with Invisiline braces. Results are amazing! Dr Jones is extremely detail oriented which makes her orthodontist office the best in Falls Church area. Highly recommended for anyone who isn’t happy with their “smile”
