MELISSA VALDOVINOS/BIO
Melissa Valdovinos was born and raised in Coeurd’Alene Idaho beside her twin sister Melanie Dominguez! Melissa attended Kellogg High School and later went on to attend North Idaho College. During her twenties she managed several restaurants and bars. Seeing the owners of these establishments grow, she too knew she wanted to own her own business. When she was 25 she met the love of her life, her current husband Iggy of 16 years. Iggy has 2 daughters, Talia and Marissa. Marissa has a son named Kheiran, and Talia has a son named Xavier. Besides being Grandparents, they are also Boxer lovers to Buster and Oscar.
In 2002 she opened up Leopard Lattes drive-thru espresso stand which has grown into a very busy little coffee stand! In the last 13 years she has also owned/operated 2 other successful businesses.
Her first business, Caliente Catering, she ran for 3 years and closed due to her twin sister/partner moving to Arizona. She is currently utilizing her culinary skills to help her clients’ shop/prep/prepare healthy meals and snacks.
Melissa owned/operated Smitten Clothing Boutique for 3 years with her best friend Laura Heikkila, which they later sold due to Laura relocating to Temecula California.
Melissa has been a personal trainer for 5 years along with operating her latte stand. In February 2015 she decided to sell her business and pursue her passion full time! She couldn’t be happier to help people change their lives for good!
Melissa is certified in personal training and nutrition. She prides herself in labeling her workouts “Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get!” With this she means that her workouts are never boring! She specializes in a 25 minute cardio, core, and strength workout, followed by a 5 minute stretch. She has a quaint, private studio located at 306 N. Spokane Street in Post Falls, ID and offers one on one training Monday-Thursday. She feels like people need a trainer who can help them achieve their goals, by not only working out, but focusing on their nutrition as well. She feels that putting these two things together anyone can achieve amazing results! Melissa calls herself a Fitness Professional and has a lot of experience to offer her clients.
