There was no long wait for the anesthesiologist this time around. Dr. Taneja was quick and kind. I was unable to be awake during my first c-section and missed everything. After hearing this he made sure I was awake during this c-section and kept me informed on what was happening during the surgery. He frequently asked if I was comfortable. He kept me calm when I began to have trouble breathing and started to panic a bit. He talked me through breathing techniques and was very reassuring. I would definitely recommend/request his services if needed.
Todd Stamatakos, MD did a wonderful job with my epidural. There were a lot of other patients in L&D that needed his assistance at the same time as me, but he never made me feel like he was rushing. He helped to ease my anxiety surrounding my epidural as this was my first time having one. His personality was refreshing during a stressful time in my labor. When I had an issue with pain, he came in and quickly resolved it and I was able to deliver my baby without any discomfort. I was able to feel just enough to experience the birth without having to be in pain. Nurses kept saying that I must have gotten a really good epidural and I have to agree.
Dr. Bates was great with my daughter. This was her first time being put under as well as having a nerve block but he explained everything to both of us and moved at her pace, made sure we were both comfortable and she was able to ask whatever questions. Very good first time experience.
I was given anesthesia by Dr. Peter Shin during my C-section. He explained about effects and side effects before giving me anesthesia. And he also made sure everything is fine during the surgery. He has been very supportive. So, my surgery was smooth.
Dr. Erin Highfill was absolutely wonderful! Not only did she keep me calm throughout my entire C-Section, she kept my husband calm too! She explained everything to both of us as it was happening. I was extremely nervous about the spinal, but she was quick and gentle. Thank you Dr. Highfall for helping make our experience birthing our little boy amazing!!!
Doctor Lawrence is by far the best anesthesiologist I've ever gotten to work with! He is definitely one of a kind with his bedside manner and his ability to ask the most detailed questions to ensure my safety and comfort throughout my whole surgical process!
Very pleasant and informative. He told me he would give me a little extra pain med in the anesthesia if I wanted it—left the choice to me. Really a good experience.
Great doctor! Made me comfortable, and also made me smile while waiting. It was my first surgery ever, and it was brain surgery. He made me completely comfortable.
I was pleased by the way Dr. M. Baker adjusted the anesthesia so I was not so woozy feeling the next day, which has not been the case with others. Dr. Baker did a great job! He was caring, kind, calm and made me feel like I was truly his priority. He explained everything, answered all my questions and addressed any concerns. He put my mind at ease so I could relax and prepare for my procedure. I would definitely recommend and request him again if the situation arises. He is excellent and the epitome of a true caring doctor!
I have actually had 2c-sections and this was the 3rd. I had the best experience with this one as compared to the others I had back home. He is the best was present to prepare me before the surgery till the process was over. He is so polite and made me calm when I was having tension. He is the best so far. I will say thank you Sir.
