I use the bus to get around town, and usually have zero problems - but today I'm left a little angry. The Driver turned too fast on a corner, and my bag fell on its side and my drink fell out - rolling around the bus while I had no way to pick it up while the bus was moving. The can landed right by the front doors of the bus, where the driver could very obviously see where it was and that I was trying to pick it up. Instead, the guy opens the doors before I get the chance, and CRUSHES the can - wasting my money as I watch my soda spill all over the front of the bus. I get upset, and he tells me to just "pick it up". In what world is this OK.
Being new to the city I had to figure out how the busses ran. With the help of one very lovely lady bus driver I had it all figured out in like 5 mins. Where I'm from all bases run on a loop where you can get on at any point and ride back to where you got on at if you want. Here it only runs one way and that was my biggest issue but it was solved really fast.
Bus drivers don't think the rules apply to them. Nearly got hit while in the middle of a crosswalk with a white WALK signal lit up.
This bus system here is kind of a joke. It is nice to be in a town that has public transportation and is able to offer such a service and you can pretty much get anywhere you need to go however I've lived in other places such as Indianapolis Bloomington and visited Chicago often this bus system is kind of a joke.
Was down there for 1 minute and was bombarded by a homeless guy draped with a blanket. Tried to come into my face and space. Of course asked him to please go away. In which then he proceeded to consistently yell at me. I told him he had the right one and I would severely hurt him if he don't get away from me. There wasn't anyone who worked for Mets there. Like in other cities I have lived in, which is very unprofessional and not a good idea for the safety of there riders. After that whole mess, I wait for the bus,bus came as usual drivers wait until 15 after to let you on. They don't care that it's freezing cold, snow,or rain I see here. Again only city I have been in that conducts themselves in this manner. Driver open the door,me and my son who has been waiting for 35 minutes in the cold, walk to get on the bus. And a rider decided to just rudely jump on in front of us. Mets is the worse bus system I have ever had to deal with thus far hands down
Mary & Mary/Howell bus run late a whole lot of the time. They call downtown, to have buses that the passengers need, to wait. Well they never wait. Making me and a whole lot of other people late for work because they won’t wait for the other buses. It’s usually the Covert, Riverside, & Washington buses they ask to wait. Me & so many others depend on the city buses to get back and forth to work. It makes me a whole hour late when they do this. Waiting an extra 5 minutes wouldn’t hurt them and would definitely help out the folks trying to get to work on time. It’s not my fault the buses can’t get downtown on time. Mets definitely needs to fix this problem!!
Good place for transporting. If you learn the route you should never be late to anything. A great help to the community of Evansville, Indiana. Thank you.
The lady that drives riverside morning she needs to slow down dangerous very un safe driving she does .
Bus station needs painting cleaning and other then that it's ok
The worst drivers and transit system in America. I'd not given any star or stars if I could have. Drivers are rude and some seem to just not have basic driving skills. They speed and take risks..very unsafe
