I stayed in room 314 on July 24-28 for business. The floor was still a little damp when I checked into the room and it smells so fresh. Bed was comfy, location was perfect for business and I won big at the casino! The pool & jacuzzi was amazing! Will definitely stay here again!
Had a great birthday weekend at the MGM Springfield. Pool is nice and they have a decent size jacuzzi. Staff is extremely friendly and they gave me a birthday voucher for a free drink or appetizer. Rooms are luxurious and well worth the money. Make sure to check out the museums in the area and the NBA Hall of Fame.Rooms: 5/5
Had a one night stay and left just losing $2 so was a good trip. A beautiful hotel with everything you need and also pet friendly! Fantastic staff, lost $60 on slots but won $58.70 on poker at the bar…thankfully I’m poor and knew when to walk away ! I wish I could’ve stayed 2-3 nights. A wonderful experience all around. Thanks to everyone at the hotel/resort for making it a great stay. I’ll be back one day! Can’t recommend this hotel more. The area is not “the best” but I’m a single adult male and felt very comfortable even walking to the store to get food at night, walk my dog early in the morning was quiet in the area in the early morning and the area around the casino/hotel itself is definitely nice. No reason to leave the resort really anyways unless you want to save a little money on a soda or something. Fantastic stay, thanks! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Rooms: Most comfortable bed on my trip so far, great rooms! Safety: There were some “questionable” people outside at night but I had no issues I just wouldn’t take a family stroll off of the casino/resort at 10 at night if I could avoid it. Again as an adult male, I felt fine and everyone was friendly and helpful. Walkability: Parking is not too hard to get to, for free parking it was amazing and indoor so that’s good for me! Noteworthy details: Very dog friendly!
Really nice boutique style hotel. Lobby was very relaxing with a bar and great spots to take photos. Staff was very helpful. Room was very nice and spacious. In room coffee maker and but no mini fridge which was odd to me. Location is convenient right off the highway. Not much to do in the surrounding area if you leave property. A great variety of restaurants and bars throughout the property as well as a coffee shop.
I really enjoy going to MGM when in the area I travel for work. However, I've just had the absolute worst experience in customer service. I am a gold member and spend a lot of money there between gambling, food, and hotel stays. Every month I get free slot play, promotions, and comps for shows/rooms. I went in the beginning of August to find nothing on my account. Zero! I spent the last 3 weeks on the phone between VIP services and the cage only to be told today when I called again after no follow up that it's just the algorithm. What?! It took 3 weeks and umpteen phone conversations to tell me that? Which I absolutely cannot believe. I've been go casinos everywhere, like I said, I travel for work, and I've never experienced this. I am disgusted beyond belief. I highly, highly doubt I will go back.
I had to opportunity to stay here a night with some friends after a day at Six Flags. Overall, I am pretty lukewarm on this hotel. The staff was great, extremely accommodating, responsive, and friendly. The room itself, was really modern, and the bathroom/shower are SUPER nice. The pool on the 2nd floor rooftop is really nice, the water is warm and it's open early. The room was overall clean, but there was a ton of gross dust around/behind the nightstand, which sucked. There is no provided breakfast, and the Casino cafe is over priced and lacking. I'm not sure I'd stay here again given the price point.
A lot of the kiosks were broken. They need more family friendly activities other than the movie theater. The rooms are great. The pool is small but good. The restaurants inside were just ok. We ended up going to nearby restaurants instead of the ones inside the casino. The drink machines were broken all the time too. Rooms: The rooms were great spacious and clean. Love the rain shower. Nearby activities: The Dr. Seuss museum and science museum were great. Reasonable pricing. Basketball hall of de nor too far either. Safety: Inside the casino there is security everywhere. I felt safe. Walkability: It's walkable to the museum. Restaurants nearby. There's a CVS right down the road. You can walk from Union station to the MGM
Great hotel if you need one in Springfield. Most restaurants were closed on Monday. We have been there midweek and there is better food options. Rooms are very clean. Casino is large enough.Rooms: 5/5
A very nice property but it’s small and the gaming floor is jam packed with machines and tables to maximize its small footprint. Dining and shopping options are limited which is disappointing for a casino. The hotel was nice but the rooms are quite small. The noise level from the street makes it impossible to sleep at night, although they’re aware and supply each guest with ear plugs to help sleep through the night. The parking garage is nice but they use it for neighboring events high school graduation which got us stuck in the entrance for an hour upon arrival which made us late for a wedding. This is a good spot for convenience gambling but if you’re looking for a true casino experience then your best bet is to go to one of the Connecticut casinos. Safety: Don’t leave the property after the sun goes down.
This is a more low key casino and my husband and I love coming here. The staff is friendlier, there is always parking and there's so much to do. Don't let the size fool you. Our favorite thing is the Roar comedy club. Definitely check it out.Service: 5/5
