Last week, I purchased a new Acer Aspire 5 15, a printer, and monitor, among other equipment. Knowledgeable and efficient staff. Went to set up the laptop this morning, Dead screen. Took it back and swapped for a Lenovo IdeaPad I'd previously considered. Staff got me in and out in less than 10 min. Excellent service!
MicroCenter is a fantastic small chain electronics and computer store. With excellent customer service, they go the extra mile to assist shoppers. The best part? They price match big retailers like Amazon, ensuring you get the best deal. My only regret is that they're not available in my current area. If you're fortunate enough to have one nearby, take advantage of MicroCenter's wide selection and exceptional service for all your tech needs.
Super friendly and very competent staff. We were greeted almost immediately by the store manager who went out of his way to say hello and offer assistance. When in back of store by computer display area, we were offered help by an employee who was low key, not pushy, asked the right questions to help us and ultimately we will be back to purchase a couple laptops from same rep. Great place to go if you need a little guidance on computer or printer details. They also have repair clinic I believe it starts around $39 for initial diagnostic.
Sales person was knowledgeable and gave a good suggestion for a laptop for my son going to college. Didn't try to pressure us into a more expensive model or anything. Just answered our questions and made a reasonable suggestion. Was available if we had any other questions but didn't harass or try to strong arm us to make a sale either.
Went in thinking that my gpu was failing but once they got it checked out, I was told that there was nothing wrong which was great. Jose was able to answer all my questions about why i was experiencing a black screen while gaming. He assured me that it was a software issue and it really was. I backed up my pc reinstalled windows 11 with a legit product key and no more black screen!!!!! Thank you so much Jose!!! and thanks to the guy who was able to test it out my gpu!!! Great team! My baby is back up and running!!!
Great store and employees! They've helped me immensely over the past 5 years with building 7 different computers. If you're a computer-building addict like I am, it's like being a kid in a candy store! They have a VERY good selection of almost every I ever needed between their stores in Chicago and Westmont IL. Their prices are good and their employees are Always helpful!
The entire experience from the moment I walked through the door til I left the store was magical. Loved the way I was walked through all of the options and there was no pressure on the sales side. My build came out great too! Only point of feedback was that I wish they had bags or something. I had to take all of my computer components and just put them in my car in their raw boxes. Which doesn’t make it very easy to carry them either.
While their knowledge is exceptional and they give great advice for products at fair prices, their post-sale service is non-existent! I spent more than an hour trying to reach a live person on the phone. Went as far as Corporate, but still never got to a live person. Beyond disappointed...and likely will never buy from Microcenter again since I don't live close enough to just stop by with questions.
Great employs. Great customer service and experience. They might need to update the lighting in the store seemed very dull in the main entrance of the store
