This is a biased review only because I've been a loyal Microsoft user for 20+ years. The store experience is great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The products on display are great and its a good place to go to physically try out the computer or game console you are thinking about purchasing. One thing to know about buying a computer from the Microsoft store; you are buying the Microsoft experience. That means the computer you are purchasing is free of bloatware the extra programs that OEM'S load up their devices with to reduce cost. That being said, you will pay a little bit of a premium, but I think it's totally worth it.
My experience was very good. I stopped there on the Wednesday to inquire about the Surface Go, as I was interested in getting a personal computer other than my work laptop. The guy that assisted was very helpful, I told him I'd think about the one I wanted and come back the next day. I did go back and Kate was the rep that helped. She was great. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and she explained everything in detail.
The store manager is a great woman who made me happy when I took my new Surface Pro 7 and keyboard that were gifts. She took the keyboard and let me exchange for color and paid the differences when the Freehold Raceway store refused. It is worth of driving an hour away. Staffs here are highly professionals. They want customers to be happy.
Had an issue with my battery and an employee at the store named Dan and the manager Lindsay swiftly handled it. As a student who needed my computer issue resolved quickly, they were able to help me out and made me feel at ease. Their customer service is impeccable and they offer beverages if you are waiting for a bit. I recommend shopping at this store to everyone and their service is better than the service at the Apple store.
I’m very disappointed with the service. The employees were very nice and attentive but my surface pro dies on me and the technician made an attempt to see if he could help but ultimately said that I need to find a data recovery service as they didn’t do that! I feel they should be able to help with this type of thing as apple does this! After this experiment I need to switch to Apple products. With electronics I feel the company should be able to help you with all issues that could occur with their products.
Staff and service was great. Everyone seemed relatively happy to be working there. My charger stopped working so I went into the store. I did not have an appointment, but that was not a problem maybe on a busier day it would have been. They just swapped out my charger for free, super easy. Apple would have charged me a million dollars for service with a frown. Great store - reaffirmed my choice to purchase Microsoft products for my business!
Don't understand why people want to be treated like God. The service and return policy is pretty fair here. The products are amazingly better than the apple. I bought the surface pro 4 and it works as amazing as it is advertised to me. Loved Microsoft products.
Extremely helpful with anything Microsoft related. Went to troubleshoot my son's xbox one and came out a happier person. Very knowledgeable staff and always helpful. They also have several choices of computers to look at and everything xbox related. Very happy to have this store nearby.
Great service and returns. I bought 2 laptops and returned them both. Not microsoft's fault really. I got great service on all transactions. They also will fix your computer for free if you are just running a windows product even if you didn't buy your computer from them.
I had a great experience with this store recently. One of my 4 year old laptop was crashed & not booting up, tried multiple things, but nothing worked out. Thought upgrading to Windows 8 and contacted this store, I was very surprised that they do fix the windows laptops. They diagnosed that RAM was not working, when I provided them the new RAM, they installed it and installed windows vista on the laptop and returned me in a great turnaround time. Extended help beyond their limits, my high five for all the guys working at the store …. !!!
