I am so glad I found Middlesex County Animal Hospital! Everyone is always so welcoming and I know that my dog is in good hands whenever we visit. I am especially thankful for the vet tech, Mary, who always keeps my mind at ease that Frank our greyhound is getting the best treatment - even when he is being overly dramatic. Because of the exceptional and compassionate care he has received, I will continue to be a grateful forever client here!
Brought my small dog in for vaccination and a tick bite which the tick head was still in his skin. Doc seemed very nice and took him back and assured me there was no head in him. Whew! When we left I thought all was well. Wrong! When my dog had a weak leg reaction from the vaccine, I called the receptionist was very rude, offered me an appointment that day at cost, and rushed me off the phone. Of my own common sense, I waited 24hrs and leg was fine. However! I noticed the bite was becoming infected a few days later. I was able to secure my dog to look and the tick head was in there. I was able to remove myself. No help from this vet! I will never return. Terrible customer service and a doc who obviously did not take the time to examine my dog properly. Luckily i purchased they couldn’t even give me a small sample of antibiotic ointment for my pet and he is fine now.
I truly cannot recommend this vet office enough! We have had nothing but great experiences from everyone in the office. Dr Wharrie is my dog Clubbers doctor and he has been so amazing, very patient answering any questions we have and calling to check on him. I appreciate the entire staff more than you know, thank you for taking such great care of my baby!
Staff always remembers my dog. There recommendations are great. We needed a couple specialists they have us plenty of info. Love this place
So I have had many vets of the years. If I’m going to be honest not all of them were the greatest. But this specific vet hospital is amazing! I brought my dog Ragnar in for an ear infection. Long story short he fell in love with everyone there. And his Vet Sophia was amazing. So young yet more knowledge than any of my previous vets! Highly recommend
I love the staff at Middlesex, especially Tina. She was always available when needed and Dr. Shilo for saving our puppy Babyblue I will never go anywhere else. There are our home in our family and they love blue just as much as Blue loves them the best veterinarian ever ever.
Very reputable veterinary practice that has cared for a number of my family’s pets over the years. Great service with reasonable prices. Dr. Wharrie is fantastic!
I do like this Vet clinic and have been taking my dogs there for a few years now, but, the prices keep creeping up. Office visit increased & not sure what u get for the price as they charge for each thing they do. Everything has a charge and you get slammed at end of appointment. It can be shocking how high the bill is. Ears checked and you’re charged just for them sticking Qtip in and then charged again for testing it onsite. Why isn’t it just one charge? Sadly, I can’t afford them anymore. You won’t walk out for anything for less than a few hundred bucks on average. It’s a shame but I’m going to need to look for something more affordable. A quoted cost always blows up to more…. Every time. I also feel rushed at each visit and they charge a lot for meds. They don’t give time for you to say no.
The doctors and technicians are good but the desk staff are not helpful and few are friendly. My pets meds needed approval before Chewy would send it and the staff repeatedly said they would approve it but still declined the order multiple times over a three week span. They have so many medication requests in the portal from chewy and don't want to bother going through them. Meanwhile their pet patients are suffering without their meds.
Middlesex County Animal Hospital always takes the best care of my pets. Dr. Wharie is is a kind and patient veterinarian. He has managed my dog's cushions disease for years and his medical advice is something I trust. No doubt my old girl is in amazing shape because of the care she receives at MCAH.
